Traditional racing games are uber boring IMO. I like car games like Burnout and Flatout.

GT4 had more realistic driving physics than Forza. Imagine how much better GT5 will be.

Forza is for lightweights that like to paint the cars pretty colours and driving them is an afterthought.

Actually nether game is very realistic, especially GT, GTR and R Factor are far more realistic racing games. But forza is a more realistic game then GT, GT is about the cars more than the actual racing.

Have you even played Forza?

I've played Forza 1, Forza 2 as well as GT4, GT HD, and the GT5 Prologue demo. With all of that behind me, I can easily say that Forza 2 is the most realistic of those I listed. That's not to say GT is bad or anything, but as of now, the only real advantage it has over Forza 2 is graphics.

Gran Turismo will always be better; better graphics, more realistic physics, more realistic car simulation. The only thing it has going against it is the fact it doesn't have vehicle damage. But I can live without damage.

Gran Turismo pwns all.

GT is not more realistic than forza, its not an opinion its the facts. Forza 2s physics simulate a car more realistically than any GT game, and like i said before if you want a real racing simulator try a game like GTR2.

I've actually driven several of the cars in Forza and GT and know for a fact that GT is far more realistic in its gameplay. Another thing that bothered me about Forza 2 is that it looks like GT4, a last gen game!

Forza is not more realistic than GT, its not an opinion its facts. The vast majority of console race sim players agree. Majority rules buddy.

And to the Mod who just deleted my post for no reason whatsoever, you are a pathetic Lemming who simply did not agree with my opinion therefore deleted my msg. What a joke SW has become.

Judging by your comment, you have never played Forza (with an open mind at the least) so I would just like to say that what you have to say is considered void until you prove me otherwise.

Yeah but lets ne honest, live for speed looks so bad by todays standerds, i mean i can play a bad looking game if the gameplay is good, but wow. LFS really sets the limits for me. its not the graphics as such though. its the lack of filtering.

Any way, back to the topic.

Forza>>>GT

In terms of physics, dont try argue, how many people here actually have there licence.

And sure, if you must. you will say the driving is better in GT but who needs damage, news flash people!

Physics include damage, and how your car handles when damaged etc.

I cant remember the article i read (so take this as a grain of salt)
But they said forza had like 120 sensors for physics were as GT only has 60. or some thing along those lines.

I've played GT since the beginning but I would put Forza 2 above all four GT games on the PS2/PS1.

GT5 on PS3 might be better but I can't say for sure since its not out yet.

forza is for lightweights. what other racing game do you know of that gives you "driving lines" to race on so that you get everything right on the frist try? what ever happen to trial and error? forza is a joke. gt killed the racing game ever since it came out. they set the bar high for everyone.....even themselves.

as far as grahpic goes, forza 2 doesnt look that much better then gt4 and gt4 is a ps2 game, so you have to give it to gt4.

gt4 is just flat out better.

Forza 2 owns LFS in physics. They are similar but braking put Forza 2 on top. Compare to LFS braking in Forza 2 is pain in the ass, just block the wheels and you are out.

In case of course if you are playing Forza with racing wheel

You not supposed to crash? are you serious? So in professional racing the people that crash are not trying there best? Because according to you as long as you "try your best" crashing doesn't happen. Anyway im not talking about the damage modeling, I'm talking about the impact crashing has on your performance, the funny thing is in alot of cases in GT its a good strategy to crash into the walls:lol:

Ok there is no arguing the fact that Forza 2 technically simulates the forces on the car while racing in far more detail than GT5p, in terms of what game feels real when racing the answer is neither, if you want a racing simulator your gonna need to get a PC racing simulator.
