Finally Got the 3DS... This Thing's Gonna Sell Through The Roof.

So after finally getting the 3DS (only a month later than intended!), and fiddling around with AR Games, Face Raiders, 3DS Sound, 3DS Camera, Mii Plaza et al, I have to hand it to Nintendo- this must probably be the best system they have ever created. Sure, as of right now, the games are missing, but we all know they're a month or two away. Once the games start coming in, the sales for this thing should bethrough the roof.

Seriously, I've played with many game systems in my time. Never before was I as amazed by the sheer 'magic' of technology as I was with the 3DS, not with the Wii, not with the DS, not with the Kinect. The closest thing probably was the N64.

Nintendo's got themselves a worthy successor to the DS on their hands- now all that we need are the games (coming), the online functionality (coming), and better advertising (better get down to it, folks at Nintendo).

Im waiting for KH3D release date to be announce before I even think about getting a 3DS. And the price will likely drop by then .

I got mine yesterday and I'm enjoying it but the 3D isn't for me so i turn it off.

Didn't you hear the 3DS is a fail.... I'm planning on picking one up next month with OOT. Ninty has a ridiculous lineup for the 3DS and 3rd party is also looking amazing.

I played around with my friend's 3DS in about 20 minute instances, maybe about an hour and a half in total, I got bored of AR and all that other built-in jazz very quickly. There is just... games I could be playing instead of messing around with what are essentially tech demos. When I can play a large amount of recently released games, or the crap built into the 3DS, its an obvious choice. The only thing I will get one for is games. 110million

Get an iPod Touch, and get Game Dev Story. It's the game that single handedly legitimized the iPod as a handheld gaming system in my eyes.

It is but its pretty much just a ds with 3d. It has more appeal, but if it doesn't succed with the causual crowd, its not going to do as well.
