Fable 2 is too short and too easy, and it has a lot of useless stuff in it that doesn't effect the story whatsoever. I keeps seeing all these ads, for every choice a different destiny, what a joke, the only real choices are at the end of the game.
Well I think mgs4 is rediculously overrated, but it's still better than fable 2, which I also think is overrated (yes I didn't enjoy it all that much, 7-7.5 for me).
Not really. A good majority of the talk on these forums is dedicated to Fable II and most game forums for that matter. It's selling pretty well. A good majority of the complaints were from people who had already planned to complain before the game was even released (i'm not saying all the complaints are from those people, just a good majority). None the less, the game is in high demand. I wouldn't say thats a flopped game.

Hype was AAA, and it only got AA, so technically it did flop.
Fable 2 faild on 2 accounts. Story was very VERY short. You didint get attacth to any of the characters in the story of fable 2. Thats because they werent around much at all espcially the last guy you meet. Hell I was more attached to my dog if anything.

You can play sales all you want, but technically its a flop
IMO, MGS4 is better, probably in all aspect except for graphics depending on the art direction you like better.. Fable 2 is great but I think Fallout 3 already outshines it as well. There are just too many things about Fable 2 that I think could have been done much better, especially the main story. And yes Fable fanboys, I own and have beaten both games, it's not a blind comparison.
Now come on buddy. There is no way you really believe that. Story, Graphics, Gameplay, longevity, online all go to MGS4. I'm not saying all that MGS4 does all those things great, but it does it better than Fable 2. And I enjoyed Fable 2.
It's an RPG being compared to a stealth game, you can't compare the two. Although I'm enjoying fable 2 much more than MGS4, I've put more hours into it as well.
