hmmm.. Which one of the freaks would win in a battle to the death?

one thing chimeras have is the ability to track enemies even trhough walls but then Elites on the other hand can go stealth and basically turn invisible...

Elites main weapon: Plasma Rifle

Chimera main weapon: Bullseye

The Chimera have better AI and are noobs that use tags... so Chimera wins, no matter how much of a noob win it is. :P

This thread has a seriously lack of Space Pirates. Of course, its understood that Space Pirates own everything (except Samus lol) so there is no point in argueing. Elites would cream the Chimera btw.Grodus5

yeah,, i think im gonna have to go with chimera.. to me they look cooler and have cooler technology and weapons..

Elites have the technology but the chimera are much, much better when it comes to weapons (Bullseye and Auger) and lots of variety with the enemies such as the stalker and the Angels. :D

Plus, the Chirmera can turn those elites into one of them. :D

I didn't realise that the Elites had evolved so much that their body processes don't create heat. :roll:

I think the Chimera is a perfect name for the "alien" race in R:FoM if you know your mythology. ;)

There are ways to minimize heat signatures.

But the humans call them Elites. I know that all the aliens have their different names but the humans call them names like Hunters, Jackals, and Grunts.

It seems dewmandew7 is not familiar with ectothermy and poikilothermy...

The Auger can shoot through walls. Chimera can SEE through walls.

Chimera wins.

The Covenant has huge advantages over the Chimera, for one thing, they could easy glass the planet and pretty much end it there, but seeing how the Covenant has experience fighting the Flood, (another parasite race) they know what do to destroy them. Along with that, the covenant has HUGE numbers, talking about surplassing trillions on just one planet, the chimera race only lives on earth. So basically if the covenant did the smart thing and just glassed the planet, Covenant wins in day, thats if the Chimera gives up a good fight.

But I do respect the inteligence and weaponry of the Chimera...

You have to be more specific, because 'technically' these Angels and Widowmakers are Chimera also.
