i'm not trying to be biased or nothing i just can't find much more for the PSP in 2008 than that.

there are plenty of PSP and DS and even GBA owners in here that would find those statements stupid.

if handheld gaming is dumb why has the PSP outsold the Xbox and GameCube?

if handhelds don't matter why is the DS on the verge of cracking 100 million units sold?

if no one cares about handhelds why would square bother remaking chrono trigger, making new titles like Dragon Quest 9, or Crisis Core for handhelds?

And yeah, you are missing some, but it's still a solid list overall. Lots of JRPGs from Square Enix I see.

PSP... I guess it isn't terrible, but I still have no desire to get one.

I have a psp, and I love it. I think it wins in a number of places, non of which I will list as I am a cow(jk)...

The only reason I would want a ds right now is for FFIV. To me, psp wins.

for one the DS has touch controls and online connectivity that didn't exist for the n64

and the PSP is technically more powerful than the ps2 soooooo

the DS to me is the first handheld to actually feel like a fresh new console that just happens to be portable

it also shows what the bliss of the combination of good nintendo first party like Phantom Hourglass, MPHunters, New Super Mario Bros, Yoshi's Island, Kirby Superstar Ultra, etc, can be like when combined with Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime, Final Fantasy III and IV, Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword, Resident Evil, Dementium, Trauma Center, and Ace Attorney

I like the DS, games like layton, hotel dusk etc. are cool, but I cannot stop thinking how cool they would be if the graphics were updated. Put psp's graphics with ds stylus control and you have a winner. Oh and I like the line-up for psp just a tad more....only a little though.TheFlush

Who really gives a damn? PSP is owning so far this year, and although DS has more games coming out the rest of the year, about 60% of them are crap games. And the PSP has an awesome lineup. Resistance, Patapon, Loco Rco, Dissidia, KH etc. 80% of the PSP games for the rest of this year are all good.Blazevoir

a new DS game comes out every week, 5 or 6 actually yea not all of them are good but at least people are trying

I totally agree. Nothing like being able to get your game on everywhere and anywhere. I play my PSP all the time on the train heading to work.

Dissidia comes this year, and so does Patapon, and Loco Roco I think. I love how you miss out a LOT of games for the PSP.

I have both and they are good for different things, but I think DS wins in pure fun factor...yesterday I skipped out on my 360 to play Mario Kart DS and Super Princess Peach - also, Trauma Centre, Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword, puzzle games etc.

But I was recently on a long bus trip and I was happy to own a PSP - watched a film on it and the picture was crisp...the only game I've bought for PSP though is Crisis Core.

I had a DS for about a Year. I had lots of fun with it. After a few months of playing i got extremely bored with it. I barely used it, so i sold it. Now i bought a PSP Slim Piano Black + 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo. Now im having tons of fun with it even though i still have no games to play. I can always play demos, go on the internet, listen to music, watch movies/videos. This might be irrelevant to this thread of course but just want to let you know. No matter how many games that come out for ds, most of them end up as useless shovelware and massive RPGS. I HATE RPGS and shovelware. (of course) But on the PSP RPG's are great. I cannot wait for Valhalla Knights 2. All that DS has is RPGS. mostly every RPG i played on DS sucked. (IMO)

For me, it doesn't matter if the DS has MORE games than PSP, but PSP has the BETTER games even if it has the less games IMO. Just thought I'd let you know. Long live PSP gamers. (No fanboy here. I dont hate the DS. After all, I have a 360 and which im buying a PS3 soon...)
