No please no. if you are talking about new wolfenstein. its a shitty console game and not even close to great RTCW was.

Its ID software. i dont think they will do that. even rage which was primilary build with console in mind has one of the most satisfying shooting.

Hope it turns out to be worth a damn, they really fucked up with Rage. I though I was at the halfway point and just thinking the game was beginning to get good when it fucking ended; for shame id Software, for shame.

Anyhow, they got the right marketing idea, like they did with Rage, just initially tell people it's PS4/PC so all the cows getting really excited like they did with Rage and do all the word of mouth promotion of it without any merit to speak of, then once that's been accomplished just announce the Xbox One port and it's good to go.

The last Doom was bad.

And their last engine wasn't exactly great either.

Why should I have any hype for this ?

actually it was not. i thought it was great. may not better than classic doom but doom 3 is better than most FPS these days (including recent wolfenstien). However RTCW>Doom 3

RCTW and Doom 3 aren't even in the same category. RTCW is GOAT and Doom 3 is just an average shooter at best.

Played Far Cry, loved it. Played Half Life 2, loved it. Played Doom 3, couldn't even finish it.

Perhaps Doom 3 would've been better if it didn't came out with such strong competition.

Yes RTCW was one of the GOAT. fast paced game with some of the GOAT soundtracks ever. i mean base alarm. too bad series has not been good since than both 2009 one and new order are terrible games that i couldnot even finished. it should have been develop by same guys. i cant stand BJ in new order too.

but the thing is doom series is more relavant than wolfenstien. and ID software was originally making COD clone but they scrap the project. so i assume it will be great.
