Does the PS3 have any standout MP games?

I dont think anyone can mention any games that will satisfy you or answer your question as you will keep moving the goal posts to suit whatever agenda this thread is trying to achieve....

Just my theory, anyways/ but the LBP games and Demons Souls have some of the most unique and innovative multiplayer elements this gen...

Theres this one game where one team spawns on one side of the map, and the other team spawns on the other side of the map, then they run to the middle of the map and kill each other, then they spawn and do it over and over again.

The PS3 has WAY more MP games then the 360 and it's won a lot more MP GOTY awards then the 360 has. Award winning Resistance 1, 2 and 3, award winning Killzone 2 and 3, Starhawk and Warhawk, Award monster Uncharted 2 and 3, MAG.

Racers like the Motorstorm franchise are a BLAST online, you have Kart games, sims in Gran Turismo, Wipeout...

You have unique experiences like the award winning LittleBigPlanet, Journey, Demon's Souls and sports games like the award winning MLB franchise.

What does the 360 have? Halo Halo Halo... Gears is terrible online and it doens't have much else, it has Halo and Forza... So sad. And let me remind you last time Halo and Killzone were up for a MP award Killzone destroyed Halo and got the award from your very own gamespot.

The 360 failed HARD in providing MP experiences this gen, the PS3 crushed it with way more options, variety and award winning choices. FACT, according to gaming industry critics.

• Not being able to talk to your friends because there is no party chat

I never saw much, UC3 had great dev support but the game was terrible to play, Killzone 2 was fun, but 3 was a mess, Starhawk=LOL, Socom, even playstation fans will admit they just want a HD remake of 2. Yes...Starhawk, Killzone 3, Uncharted 3, DC Universe, Warhawk, etc etc.

As far as PS3 exclusives go, Resistance 2 probably gave me the most enjoyment for a MP game. The 8 player co op and the 60 player matches were a lot of fun and there were enough different weapons and playstyIes to keep me interested for a long time

I dont know about "standout" but I enjoyed immensely K2,3 and U2,3 MP. I know Warhawk and MAG have a cult following to them. Anyways, I'm not a MP fan so that doesnt bother me. MP gets repetitive real quick, especially FPS. Now fighters, thats another story. Super Street Fighter IV is still my fav game to play online
