Does Bioshock run specifically better on any platform?

I can get it on any platform, but it's currently on sale for the PC, but i really just care most to get it on whichever platform it works best on (since ports sometimes dont always work out as well as they should).

Also, try and make it independent of which version you own if necesary.

I haven't played the 360 version but my guess is that it's the one that runs better.

I own the Ps3 version and it's great, the only issue it has is that sometimes the textures take about 5-10 secs to load (after you just load the game, when playing through you have no issues at all)

PC runs at 60 FPS (depends on your gaming rig thoe)

360 and PS3 are 30 FPS

All I know is that the PS3 version of BioShock is the worst version. It's a year old port, over priced at $60 for the inferior version. It offers a survival mode "Challenge Rooms", but as a DLC which should have been included in the game to begin with.dark-warmachine

yeah you know i keep hearing this, and i do have a very capable PC, but i played the demo rcently, and there was an issue. Basically it ran great with Vsync off, but there was tearing, so i put Vsync on, and well, the frame rate wasnt quite as great.

I have a Core 2 Duo and a Geforce 8800GTX Btw....

Umm... What graphics are you talking about? The only thing that was -eer- wrong with the PS3's version graphics were some textures, and guess what, they were patched day 1 of release. The PS3 version gets exclusive DLC, something that every single Lemming on this board claims is a MEGA deal when it's for them, but for PS3 it's useless, and should of been in the game anyway... if you have a rig capible of running it, or a rig that will have trouble running it, i tihnk the answer is obvious with the price its at right now on steam

any sane person would pay $5 over $30 or $60

Before it was patched hell yea. 2K didnt even fix the demo lol. But after the patch its exactly like the X360 believe it or not. Even ask the 2K developers at the site lol

Dude, all other fanboy nonsense aside.... and aside from all of the other benefits of playing it on the PC at this point in time.... it is 5 bucks on Steam right now.
