I like both equaly. It really deppends on the individual games content, not where it is made.mattyftm
some form of that
As for me, i prefer Japanese games over western.UnrealSin_XNo prefeerence here as long as it is fun to play.
I like a mixture of both, but I think Japanese game development has been feeling a bit stale lately.heretrix
Agreed. The last Japan-developed game I bought was Persona3:FES, and even that clings close to tired JRPG conventions.

Yeah. I played FES and while I liked it, I was really annoyed at how repetitive the game got. Japanese games have a certain charm to them, there's no denying that, but the gameplay of a lot of games seems stuck in the PS1 days. This is true to a certain extent of the industry as a whole though. I think that the Europeans and other western developers are taking more risks in the RPG arena. Although I must say do do like Lost Odyessy quite a bit so far.Western. I prefer being in control of and influencing the game, whereas in most Japanese games it feels more like you're just along for the ride. PBSnipes
