Should pc be credited as saving the genre and keeping it relevant? And if so, should console users be eternally grateful?

in that case, the console should be credited for saving First Person Shooters, Driving games, Sports games and many others.

You can keep your horror.. i don't even like horror movies

And how do you know it ?

@RedentSC: Saved? No.. saturated more like.

But how can that be... nobody buys PC games right?

Lol Lord no. Outlast is more comedic than scarey. Like in a Freddy Kruger way. Silly character designs, badly keyframed animations, horrific ending. The nightvision gimmick to invoke fear has been done to death ever since Silence of the Lambs. Good thing I watched the walkthrough instead of wasting money on it. Should of kept this on the pc, where the garbage belongs.

If anything, I'd say the first Dead Space saved survival horror. Even Tlou did more.

No, ballsy smaller devs did.

And what would they have done without the PC being an open platform that lets small devs do whatever they want?

PC is the new home of survival horror, while consoles have become the home of action horror.
