Traded in my first 3DS for an XL...Then I barely played the XL so I sold it awhile later for almost what I payed for it. Then I rebought an XL and now I don't really play that either. I'm not really sure why I bothered getting that or a Vita, I don't seem to enjoy portables anymore.

What kind of games do you like? It could just be that the games simply doesn't appeal to you. I find myself playing on my 3DS a lot more than my Wii U or PS3 (which is now relegated to Blu-Ray player).
Some of the games have been disappointing. NSMB2 and Starfox 64 3D are the last two games I played and both are mediocre. Before that I played Tales of Abyss which is not great.
Mario 3D Land and Ocarina of Time 3D have delivered though, need more like that.
