I didn't say Crash is going to cost $80. I was referring to the cost of new games in general in Canada which is actually $90 with taxes.

Yikes, I know it's a remake, but I was able to pay, enjoy being a different story, about $15 for this trilogy on PS3.

lol Yea, The graphics, animation, controls and sound were are ALL updated. It has a complete new engine and everthing is completely redone. They even brought back the original voice actors.

Im pretty hyped for this trilogy, from a nostalgia stand point, but 40 bucks is steep (most likely 60 in AUS). Ill wait for a drop in price instead

The guy who posted the video tells it all. It's the same game.

Everything is recreated. They even brought back the original voice actors. A lot of work is put into the trilogy.

No way this set is worth $39, old ass games have no premium. This will sell for shit hopefully, it deserves to.

I would have paid full price for this. Hoping Activision brings it over to Xbox since they own the rights to it (and there hasn't been any "only on Playstation" wording on it), this is the only game from ps4 that is a big want for me.

Check out 2:19, this was NOT in Crash 1. And this is just one thing. How do we know there are no other new features, bonus levels or little tweaks in levels like in the new Ratchet game? Maybe they'll show all of that at E3? I love how everyone jumps to conclusions while there is evidence against it

I really don't think so. They aren't actually remasters in the typical sense, and involved significant rebuilding of the game. There is no way they are going to use d-pad nav, given that.

@PSP107: um, did you read the link (or even just the critical details from the interview I quoted above), or just sift through for a quote that sounds right? That one quote hardly tells the whole story. There is no way that, with a new engine, artwork, animations, etc, it will lack, e.g., analog controls. They said the old code is almost unusable.

LOL people bitch about PC being expensive and yet, everyone's bitching over $40 for 3 games! How Ironic. $40 means nothing to me, I buy the games I want to play, prices makes no difference to me.
