@ConanTheStoner: Well that explains.😂
Yeah. Over a year ago, saw him mash up some tweets from Geoff Keighly and SkillUp. Called him out on Discord.
Not a big deal, just weird is all. Especially when he can't continue the convo on his own, why do it in the first place.

I think the correct wording is "Subscription services, whether it’s Game Pass or PS+ have provided nothing of value to me."
Please don't speak on my behalf.😊
He just copy pastes others tweets, forum posts, reddit posts, articles, etc. as his own. Sometimes cobbles multiple together, which results in a scramble of nonsense ideas. Been doing it for years. This is why he doesn't continue the convo if you dig into what he says.
In this case, just one source.
Subscription services have been nice for gamers in the short term when companies loss lead to provide value. But long term, it has to be value destructive. Either the subscription maker is screwing over developers by giving them a smaller cut in a future where people just subscribe instead of owning (basically they'd have all the cards to negotiate when they train consumers to just wait for it to appear on ps+ or gamepass) or they have to raise prices enough such that you'd just save money buying and supporting the games you want to play.
The money has to come from somewhere, and they will want to pursue margins on it in the end. Those margins will precisely be a value loss for all consumers because we are either paying more for the same product or the people who make games will be getting less and therefore be making less games for us.
That's the problem with gaming around the world these days. Companies can't figure out ways to keep increasing revenue barriers and shattering sales records while also cutting costs, closing studios, shoveling out 1,000 remasters, firing the best devs, inserting woke ideology, quality down and dev times up... the answer is? Simple, go back to the roots, rethink things, give people what they want. Subs will go up if the sub is worth the asking price, but the problem is games cost too much to produce these days so the quality of games on the services suffer.
Make more AA games, $20-$50 games, games with 10-40 hours of content, better multiplayer with no rigged sbmm, actual incentives to play, decent rewards, unlocks, etc. a d subs will go through thr roof. Gaming will also get better when the world economy stabilizes. More money equates to more sales.
