Can we all agree that the PS3 is the best console right now?

The PS3 has a huge game library for any type of gamer. The PS3 is the best home entertainment machine. The PS3 is the most simple to use thanks to the XMB. The PS3 has the most to offer with the best price. The PS3 just does everything, just kidding lol im no fanboy... but can we all agree that the PS3 is the best?

ive heard games like MGS4, God of War 3, Killzone 2, and Uncharted 2 haven't even used 50% of the PS3's true potential power. im not sure if its true but ive read that developers have said it.

anyway, if u like halo it doesn' t mean the xbox 360 is the best console okay? don't be game biased here. If you like playing super mario and smash bros then the Wii isn't the best console. They're great games, but can we all agree that the PS3 is the best for whats its worth and what it has to offer, overall?

You listed some awesome games, but I'll be honest, I just prefer using the 360 for most of my games.

PS3's fall line up is really great, but nothign to go bragging about either. I think LBP2 and GT5 are the only ps3 games I've got pre ordered now. I'm more pumped about Reach at this point, the beta was nothing short of epicness.

The games you listed I own, and love. But I have just as many, if not more 360 exclusives I feel the same about.

I can't really agree but from a subjective view its my favorite even over the PC. That is my personal opinion and it is my right to express it, as it is yours good sir. There is no such thing as utopia because everyone has a different view, likewise the awesomeness of PS3 gamingmight not be as awesome to some people compared to the 360.

8. The PS3s failure rate is not disastrous like the 360s. Personally I don't know anyone that has had their system fail. They aren't even aware of such a thing, actually. On the other hand, everyone I know with a 360 is either on their second console, or has sent it in for repairs at least once.

9. Sony puts more money into producing the best games. Microsoft is putting their money into trying to reach an entire new market.

Too subjective. It depends what you're after. I have a console for games. To me, the PS3 isn't worth $600 AUS for GoW3 & Demon's Souls. Is the PSP the best handheld because it has more media features than the DS? Of course not, you can get better media devices elsewhere. Why should the PS3 be any different?

Those games are still playable, sorry. I haven't tried Bayonetta, but I hear its the only one that is really really lousy on the ps3. Never heard of ANY of the hardware problems you mention. Thing is all the games mentioned have been already released. there is nothing to look forward to other than games that were released years ago that are probably gone rare by now :(. i was planning on getting the 4GB 360 but i been told that its just a rip off etc so i just removed the idea for gteting a 360 from my head, i'll save up for the tons of games coming to ps3 and a couple for psp. better than getting a new console and look for old games tbh. might think about getting one in the future when it start having some..games :P.

I'm not so sure. I agree to an extent, but there is a factual side to it as well. The ps3 just offers things that the xbox doesn't have. Blu Ray? Lossless audio? The whole console setup is just more professional. If you have a mild home theater setup, there's absolutely no question the 360 is the better console.

Maybe your experience is "no mic" is a myth, but it's definitely not a fact when MANY people have complained about it, more then claim it to be a fact people do. Sure, your not required to buy a play n charge kit (neither is an xbox owner actually) but yeah, thats a fact.. big deal? I'd MUCH rather have a user changeable battery (like the 360) then that crappy built in one, you pretty much are forced to buy a second controller if you want to stay wire free, i'd rather change my batter, alot cheaper and easier. So its your OPINION that thats good, not a fact, yet again. Oh, and yes it's a fact that the 360 has a much higher failure rate.. it's also a fact that if you have a problem with your 360 your going to get outstanding customer service.. have a problem with your ps3? Not everyone cares about blu ray, but it is still a feature the ps3 provides that xbox doesn't offer.

Uncharted, Killzone, and GOW are the best graphical showcases this gen.

XMB has actually won various awards. The xbox setup is downright horrible--THAT is a fact--an interface covered with ads? please.

I don't know anyone that has had a ps3 controller die. While I just bought mine about 8 months ago, I have friends with launch model controllers. However, two of my three xbox controllers need new charge kit batteries, or require me to use AAs -- or be plugged in.

Outstanding customer service? Really, because I sent mine in and while it is working again, it doesn't function properly. DVD tray problems. HDD read errors.
