PS4 = Definitive Version
This topic is locked from further discussion.
No plans? Wut.
While Osborne wouldn't be heavily drawn into talking about a PC version of the upcoming shooter, he reiterated what we've heard from him before: it's a possibility, but don't expect it any time soon.

All he said was that there focus on the four platforms they are releasing it for. It doesn't deny there won't be a pc version down the road. I'm going to say this thread was made to bait more user.
I liked the part where he stated that the Ps4 version is going to be the definitive version.
PS4 = 1080P, the rest is 720P, does that not sound definitive enough for you?
Oh, I THOUGHT THIS THREAD WAS ABOUT THE ARTICLE
Excuuuuse me!
I am a bit confused. When was it ever claimed that it was coming to PC?
Bungie kinda teased that they wanted to do a PC version EVENTUALLY a few weeks ago, but that for the foreseeable future they were only working on the Next-Gen console versions.
Now, it looks like they're not doing a PC version at all.
I'm getting this on Xbox One, but I am still surprised why Sony hasn't tried to outright secure it as a exclusive. The PS4 will be the best looking version, but Bungie will always sell great on Xbox so I still think Sony is missing out on just moneyhatting this game. I can play this, Destiny, Titanfall, and Halo 5 on the One and if all a PS4 fan can say is my game runs if 1080p I won't give a crap.
Sony needs to open up the checkbook for this one.
Everything about it feels like a console game. Bungie hasn't made a PC game in over 10 years so I don't expect them to start now. I planned on getting this on my PS4.
If a PC version would explode the scope of the game then they shouldn't worry about it. A PC port can come down the line when the game is out and running fine.
No plans doesn't mean it will never happen. Also stop trying to shove that PS fanboyism agenda in there
But the fact that they're not doing it for launch on PC too is a let down, guess Bungie just hate money
That saddens me, as I can't see myself enjoying a game like this much on a pad.
Thank God Division's devs decided to go for PC version.
@seanmcloughlin: He states a possibility of a pc version coming down the road but there focus on the four platforms its confirmed to be released for. TC just trying to bait people.
I don't want to play a FPS on control pad or one designed for controls pads anyway. Not much to give a shit about. Pc has much more interesting titles like Dayz.

uh...this is system wars dude, there's always an agenda in every single thread

Cows staying true to form, lying in the OP.

Yes, apparently TC can't read his own source; not like that is anything new on System Wars.
Can't wait for the Beta to go live in Spring of next year. One of my most anticipated next gen games that have been announced. Liking what Bungie is creating. I loved the Halo series and I'm sure this one will be in a class of it's own.
It irritates me how little hype this game gets because it is a multiplat. If it were exclusive to the One or PS4, this would be the most discussed game in development.
Destiny PS4 = Definitive version
Titanfall PC = Definitive version
what say you sad lems?
Bungie has a reputation with Xbox gamers and Destiny will sell very well on the One despite the PS4 version looking better. To what degree it looks better will continue to be a debate until we see the games running on both systems.
The definitive version of every game is on a PC as it can be as powerful as you want it to be, lol. But MS won't air one PC commercial for Titanfall. Likely not one print ad. It will be advertised for everywhere as a Xbox One game, and Respawn will ensure its a great experience as they are great devs. The One version will greatly outsell the PC one, but do very well saleswise on the PC. Are graphics the only category you consider when using the word definitive? Cause I don't agree.
I wonder if someone is paying them to keep it off PC
As in Sony are
Sony is really going for the PC gamer this time round. Free-to-Play, indies, mmos...

Like I said in a previous post, all of a sudden 1080p is the holy grail to people when they aren't even playing games at 1080p right now.

In this scenario, definitive = most complete.
I don't really care about X game selling better on X platform. Definitive version of a game = version which runs and looks better than a different version. How an earth does a version of a game selling better = being the best version? Advertisements, sales, blah blah idgaf. And neither should you. You're playing the game, not its sales figures. And if you want the definitive version of Titanfall,i'm 99% sure it's going to be the PC version (unless EA goes potato and releases X1 exclusive DLC but they're already losing enough money by not having this on the ps3/4).
You nailed it with the first sentence of your second paragraph. God knows why you continued on typing after that.
Poor Bungie all these years having to limit themselves to the lowest common denominator possible: the Xbox. Now they can truly shine without Microsoft constraining on true gaming.
erm the Original XBox was the best platform for devs to develop on that gen and just look at the Halo 3 sales
I assume pc at launch but I guess not. I'm not that exciting for this game, i need to see more. Will have vehicle?
the less games on the PC the healthier the industry will become. Let the PC pirates enjoy their F2P games instead, since they don't have to pay then nothing of worth would be lost.
But this will be a fully priced game using a free2play model on top. Thats what publishers want silly billy. Enjoy that, I guess.

I don't care for the selling part as well. Its just a game and you buy what you like on what you own. Definitive can also be its online component, controller, ect. Titanfall will run at 60 frames per second on both the PC and One. PC will boast better graphics. If calling it the definitive version is what you want, I wont and can't disagree. But neither me nor my pals game on PC, so its the Xbox One for me. And I wouldn't be shocked if the One got DLC first every time its released, but I won't guarantee that. No one ever said the better selling version was the best, so reading comprehension needs some work on your end. I only stated that Respawn will ensure the One version is very well done.

Lol..PC is the only part of the core gaming market that's actually healthy right now.

I have been saying for about two years that 1080p/60 should be standard next gen. It's the natural evolution over current gen's 720p/30. It's not the most important aspect of a game, but it's welcome.
