Breaking News!! gamers less excited for the next gen Xbox as the Nintendo switch 2 is leading in the Polls!

The poll was done by IGN asking gamers which reveal of 2024 are they excited for. With a new XBOX at 9% and a new Nintendo at 59%, this is very troubling news as Xbox exclusives are moving to other consoles this year.

With the bad news of Xbox consoles selling very poorly this gen (which has TONS OF GAMES !!) when compared to the PS5 (which has NO GAMES!!!), MS and the Xbox fans must be embarrassed right now, as the XBOX empire continues to crumble into oblivion.

Yeah, Nintendo Switch entering 7yrs old is about time for everyone to get excited for next-gen Nintendo console is what everyone's expecting to see. I'm amazed Gears 6 is the second highest on the poll and truth be told, I'm pretty much the only person who is looking forward to Gears 6 news this year.

Only the fanboys in this forum is putting up a fight for Xbox. 😆

The issue is that the new Xbox consoles that are rumored for this year are new models of the Series S and X which don't offer any upgrades in terms of power and are more mid-gen refreshes.

So yeah, of course there would be less hype behind two mid-gen hardware revisions compared to the next Nintendo platform that people have been anticipating since 2020.

So yeah, not really owning anyone here.

Of course people are excited for switch 2. It's been 7 long years, plus Nintendo always has some unique feature/gimmick. The wii with the wand, fisher price wii u, revolutionary tablet console switch with detachable controllers. Who knows what Nintendo is cooking now.

The same system that said more people what to play "Batman: Court of Owls" than "Horizon 2" or "Halo Infinite"? BTW, IGN pollsters are cows - they voted for the PS5 over the Switch and XBox X in a next gen poll a few years ago. So, this is unsurprising.

I would type "don't you have anything better to do than post threads this stupid?". But, I realize that since you are a 100% cow, and Sony has released one 17 hour game in a year, and has no 1st party games slated for 2024, that you probably don't have anything better to do...

At this point MS should just start making console PC with great crossover functionality. No need to keep the two separate any more.

Of course because Nintendo rocks and I have no idea why microsoft even bothers with gaming. It should just end the xbox brand and get it over with already. The Xbox is the Turbo Grafx of this generation.

First of all, no one wants a next gen Xbox or PlayStation in 2024. Second hardware is kind of taking a back seat. It's more about the games and services now.

Xbox needs to focus on games and services only. New hardware won't really solve anything. All these games would be running on the new hardware with better FPS and resolution. That's it. But at the end of the day, Xbox and PlayStation are more about games and services now.

Nintendo needs new hardware DESPERATELY.

The performance bump outside of the GPU would minuscule at best for a next gen console for Xbox and PlayStation.

As Switch is a companion console PS, Xbox and PC its no wonder more people are excited about the new one.
