I'm playing Need for Speed Most Wanted on the Vita right now. While at first I thought it was a really bad port, it's turned into a good if not great game. I'm hoping Borderlands 2, which I'll be buying because of Cross Save, is somewhat the same.

Already played it so don't really care.

I played it on PS3, have it for PC, and now will have it for Vita. If you really like a game, doesn't matter if you've played it already.

I think there very well could be an Infamous game in the works. But aside from that, if you haven't played Borderlands before, why not try it?

The Vita is it's own worst enemy. Its potentials are what make what it's actually dilvering so underrated. If many of the games that score low are ported to the DS with the same exact quality they would score much higher than the DS. All about standards/

@Telekill: Don't expect Sony make any more Vita games with their first party studios. I think Sony Bend made the Uncharted Vita and they have moved up to PS4.

I refuse to buy anymore Gearbox games after the shyt they pulled off with DNF and ACM.

This. Aliens and Duke Nukem Forever were an absolute disgrace.

And it shows Gearbox lack of respect for gamers trying to ask money for products like that. So I don't think they deserve any respect themselves.

I prefer Borderlands 2 on a larger screen. It's actually a really good looking game at full PC settings. I really can't stand shooters on handhelds. RPGs on the other hand...

Paying for a game 3 times is pretty stupid.

We've had this discussion. Aliens I agree was a cluster ****. But duke nukem wasn't really their fault.

@Blabadon: yo, the new Vita feels great! the colors seem a bit muted at first (coming from OLED), but it's actually pretty nice and looks more natural.

I got my bundle last Friday and someone accidentally put two borderlands codes in XD. The game is ok but the unstable framerate makes sniping a little difficult, I also don't like using the rear touch pad to run, they should have made it like killzone mercenary where you tap "O" quickly to run.

Overall it seems like a 7/10 for me.

I literally just got the bundle and think the Vita is a great improvement. It feels much better to hold/use than the original. Even the screen looks good too. The colors are more natural.

I can't see myself suffering through such a watered down version of Borderlands when I can easily boot up either the PC or console versions. Plus, those sticks are terrible. But I guess when you're a Vita owner you take what you can get.

I'm still keeping my oled vita but I agree. In a way the screen looks better on the games with more realistic graphics such as killzone and batman arkham. The weight of it is great and more comfortable to hold for long periods.

I am glad though that the port seems to have turned out more or less okay.

so far, it's not that bad. the graphics are better than what you see in the pics/videos online. it's pretty close to the ps3 version. performance wise, it's definitely a solid 28-30 fps (probably like 23-25ish in big battle). I think one thing people will definitely bitch about our the controls. they will say something like "console controller is so much better" or "omg, this is so much better on consoles/pc" lol. I actually don't have that big of a problem with the controls I guess because I had experience with killzone mercenary. I think overall, it's really not bad at all, and if you're someone who wants to play something on the go, it'll more than satisfy your needs.

*also, people complaining about load times. they are definitely NOT as bad as people make it out to be. people are just spoiled as hell lol

I'm also talking about promoting and marketing that game. They sold it to people even if they knew it was one huge steaming pile of **** that they knew was barely playable. And what did Randy Pitchford tell people ? That the game's quality was comparable to Half Life 2.

Yeah, don't tell me that guy deserves any respect when he is lying to people like that so he can sell his junk to them.

No matter if 3D realms made that abomination or who made it. Don't care. Gearbox sold it and put their name on it.

Yeah gearbox is a business who has to make money. Why spend millions acquiring a name like duke nukem, completely spend more millions to make gamers wait more and completely redevelop the game and then tell gamers it sucks.

Sorry if you believe what people who are pushing a product have to back it up and sell it. That makes you a sucker. If you even thought for one second DNF was going to be any good that's really being short sighted.

5.4 at IGN... I don't think it's that bad. I've been playing it and I would give it a 7/10. Framerate sucks and the controls take some getting used to. I hate using the back touch pad.

Nah it's actually not that bad lol maybe a 6.5 but I'm still having fun with the game. Of course the other versions of the game are cheaper and include more DLC.

Hell, I got the 360 GOTY Edition (USED; I don't blame people for their rage on Gearbox ESPECIALLY after Aliens, but I still don't have the same rage towards them like I did Capcom back in 2012 and EA since 2013) for like nearly £8.

I never thought Duke Nukem Forever would be any good, but I can certainly understand that other people thought it would be good. Same with Aliens, they were never honest about the game and sold it on CGI footage.

Being simply a business doesn't excuse you of anything. There is something called business ethics. And if I consider something unethical like what Gearbox has done, which means going through any means necessary to get, what they know is pure shit, sold to people, than I consider that unethical. And I would not give them my respect.

I tried matchmaking yesterday just for a little bit and was able to find a partner pretty quick. Like no wait time basically. Performance wise (this was in Sanctuary just doing a couple missions), I had no issues.
