Bobby Kotick up for re-election at Activision

The Activision Blizzard board will have to be backed by votes from stockholders if they're going to keep their jobs.

Is there any danger of Kotick going? Of course not. For FY 2010, which ended on December 31, Activision Blizzard's GAAP earnings per diluted share increased to $0.33, compared with $0.09 per diluted share for 2009. In other words, they're rolling in it.

Haha whatever, I don't care. As long as Activision doesnt affect Blizzard and Diablo 3 they can do whatever they want, their games have sucked since after THUG last gen :P.

Regardless of profit, Activision has a bit of an image problem. I doubt the shareholders care as long as Kotick of Duty keeps their wallets lined, though.

If I were on that board, I'd vote him back in. Dude makes bank. I would like him to demonstrate some longterm viability though (being a theoretical board member and all).
