Black ops zombies freezing ps3

I only play zombies on Black Ops, but almost every time it freezes. Sometimes when I first start the game, or in the menus of zombies, but usually as I get into the game it freezes. All my other games work fine. I can't figure out the issue. I see other people have the sample problems, but I cannot find a resolution. Can anyone help?

Get it for a real gaming system... the PC.

Part that sucks is that this is syatem wars, so I'll post this:

PoS3 version sucks. It has jaggies and 8% screen tearing. Get the superior 360 version with better graphics and no freezes.

Hey I also play Zombie mode for black ops and its been locking up on me recently when searching for games. I have it for the 360 so maybe its a problem with their servers??? I DONT KNOW

I've never had that problem with my copy. Maybe there's something wrong with yours.

Get a new disc, it happens to me but only on launch zombie maps. I can still play acesion,call of the dead and Moon.eboyishere

The game shouldn't cost too much used. I imagine it's like twenty-five dollars at this point (if you're American anyway).
