Best Come Back This Gen?

What game in your opinion after being terrible has then come back stronger?

For me is has to be Far Cry 3. Far Cry 2 for me was the worst FPS game I played this gen. It could of been good but had some big mistakes which really annoyed me. Far Cry 3 ended being one of my favourite FPS games I have played this gen. So this is my come back game for sure!

Far Cry 2 was a good game with a lot of untapped potential. It wasn't poorly made nor was it "bad". You should play some worse games if you think it is one of the worst from last gen.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger.

Uncharted 1 -> Uncharted 2

First was good but the second was incredible.

Killzone 2 , nr. one on the PS2 was terrible !

From Borderlands 1 to Borderlands 2

Fifa 13 from Fifa 12 (on the Vita)

Biggest improvement though was Mass Effect to Mass Effect 2.

Call of Duty: Ghosts

Uncharted 2 - Uncharted 1 was good and fun. Uncharted 2 was great and my favorite VG of all time.

COD: Ghosts - Black Ops 2 was nothing but a head-glitch fest

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit - Finally got a good NFS game again.

Deus Ex HR did the best job, I'd say, successfully revived the series, and made it relevant once again, as it should be!

Also, I think CoD 4 was a major step forward compared to CoD 3, which felt really stale. All CoD hate aside, one would have to be crazy to deny the quality and significance of CoD 4, which took a very bold step ahead for the franchise.

There's also the new Tomb Raider, which may not be appreciated by all the fans of the original TR games, but I still think it's awesome. And as FF said, CoJ Gunslinger was a very unexpected, yet pleasant surprise after the abortion known as Cartel.
