Atlus Confirmed For PlayStation Experience, P5 Incoming?

Praise the heavens, Atlus has confirmed that it will have a presence at the PlayStation Experience in three weeks.

Can we please have a release date for America? I don't even care if you don't show off new footage at this point, just give me a release date, guys. This is flat out the most hyped I have ever been for a game, stop stringing me along.

I wouldn't expect much. Atlus is a niche developer who develops niche games. I'm expecting a good game that doesn't blow the doors off of anything graphically.

A game doesn't have to be a graphical showcase to be amazing. As a Nintendo fan, I'd expect you to understand this.

Would a person be completely lost playing this without playing the prior entries?

Nope. Each title is standalone, but with small references thrown into previous games.

There is also the fact that the series was completely rebooted with Persona 3 and has nothing to do with the previous games in the series outside of two elements.

I still dont understand what PS Experience is

It's basically Sony's own expo/conference that they are holding to showcase upcoming PlayStation games.

It's an RPG, but Atlus went ahead and commissioned a 'Super Smash Bros.' for the Persona series of sorts with Persona 4 Arena. Except the Persona 4 Arena games, being developed by Arc Systems (Guilty Gear, BlazBlue) are highly technical and competitively demanding, and have stories that are, sadly, considered to be canon.

But the series is primarily an RPG series. If you have a PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 2, or PlayStation Vita, I encourage you to check out Persona 3 and/or Persona 4.

Its a gaming conference and from the looks of things it seems like a lot of cool things will be announced in it including new games

Is this the big ticketed event Sony reveal? Damn, I was thinking of getting an XBO during the Black Friday deals... but damn, even though I could just get P5 on the PS3 I'm still so tempted to get a PS4, merely on my own conjecture.

Just wait first. Persona 5 being there is just my conjecture, mind. Logic dictates it shouldn't be there.

That said, logic also dictated it shouldn't be on PS4, and look how that turned out.
