Assassins Creed is the worst game i've played in a while.

You do the EXACT same things every mission.

Sneak in by blending with those monk guys.
Sit on bench and listen/beat the guy up.
Back to the assassin hideout place, talk for 12 minutes
Pickpocket
Back to assassins hideout place, talk for 9 minutes
Kill bad guy with the horribly fighting engine.

lather, rince, repeat.

its quite fun, but it got alot of flaws

The same could be said for numerous genres out there including the FPS genre.. Your going to have to be a bit more persuasive then that...

Too much. I have a hard time deciding between playing Super Mario Galaxy, Mass Effect, or UTIII. :(

i aint going to pass it up if it comes to PC i played some of it for 360 it is pretty fun i would rate it a 8.5-9 but if all else fails

The game sounds very boring and I'm not a big fan of repetitive games anyway, so I think I'll pass on this one if it ever hits PC.EntwineX

I might rent it, but other than that, same here.

Its true that it's repetetive but it's still a lot of fun and I enjoyed it. I think it deserved the 9.0 it got here on GS.

And btw, you don't have to blend all the time.. Just kill a gaurd near by to make the other gaurds walk over.

You must have played very few games for this to be the case. Also your criticisms can be levelled at pretty much 90% of games ever created, Mario moves right and jumps now and again, gets repetitive....

Other games being repetetive doesn't mean that this game isn't. So for the people saying that other games are repetetive, then good for you pointing that out but it doesn't change the fact that this game is a "one trick pony".

Not really. I dont' recall having climb around a giant castle to get to my target and trying to Stealth "air" kill him. Also one of them has you dualing it out with dozens of guards, and it's not like. Another one where you kill 5 targets to get the last one...It depends on how you play the game. Go in their with a negative closed mind then you won't enjoy it. AC's atmosphere is amazing and fortunatly for some they are able to overcome the repetetive shortcomings to enjoy a great game. GS reveiwer was one of them hence why he gave it a deserved 9.0.

No, it really couldn't. The missions basically consist of walking up to someone/a bench and pressing a button. The problem isn't so much that it's repetitive, but that the missions are so ridiculously simplistic. I haven't played the game yet, but this is what a large part of the critics are saying.

Really? I thought doing the same thing over and over was like a sheeps wet dream.

I personally enjoy it. Like Crackdown its a game I just run around in causing havok while listening to tunes on my 360.

ME and COD4 are much much better though.

yeah it's an okay game

i prefer the 1up review over the gamespot review, they treat the game almost like its the second coming
