Kotaku review.

Apparently they played the PS3 version and really liked it.

Why did you use a giant 360 Box, you should have found a PC box or used just the AC2 image with no console box, ah well.

Why does it matter? The only people that would even care about something that small are cows...everyone knows it's multi. Why would a PC box make any difference?

Why does it matter? The only people that would even care about something that small are cows...everyone knows it's multi. Why would a PC box make any difference?

I thought about putting them all, but I did put underneath that its coming out for all 3 (apparently not until march for PC though). First time doing one of these hype threads to so, next time ill be more "politically" correct :P

This will definately be a purchase for me sometime in 2010. All though im suprised that this thread was stickied. Its not as if theres going to be damage contrl or people claiming ownage.

This game deserved more, not saying it is a bad score but there are alot of improvements over the first game making the difference as huge as Uncharted 2.

Anyways, as I said AAA, not 9.5 though :P

Oh wow IGN says the game takes at least 18hrs to complete if you just focus on the main story.

Incase anyone is curious the same person that game different scores for Dragons Age reviewed this game also.

Yeah, I was praying so bad it would get 9.5 to silence all the doubters.I watched thevideo review first and it screamed 9.5. Seems like UC2 has set the bar high again for ratings. Still a great score and I'm glad at least a few people are excited about it.

Mmmm 9.0 from Gamespot gets me very excited. I am glad Ubisoft took the advice of their fans for the better. Too bad my wallet is empty until Christmas

Don't know how the first game got a 9.0. I certainly don't trust the score they give the sequel.

I'm not one to talk conspiracy theories but these scores seem "purchased."

I don't know, the first one got AAA here as well, I'll continue to keep my hype for the game low.

For this game please ignore the 9.0 GS gave the orignal. They rated the orignal on its concept which was great but didnt pay attention to the actual gameplay.

Instead this time look at IGN's score. They gave it a 7.5 or a 7.6 but yet part 2 gets a 9.2 over there. That alone tells you this game isa big improvement.

For some one being so Anti 360, he sure does play his 360 quite a bit :?

I cant believe people are worried about it being anything like the first game. If any of you did any research on the game you'd find it's nothing like the first game and every review pretty much on the game has stated that including gamespot and while AC1 was repetitive (not to me) but to the general people, this game won't be, its a vastly improved sequel with a in game economy, better AI, improved combat, many new weapons and armor, 15+ hour storyline, GTA mission style with side missions, improved graphics, tons of new ways to assassinate, many basic gameplay improvements and overall just a way better experience then the first.

Does anyone else think GT's review was overall pretty negative and seemed like they thought it was a 8-8.5 game?

I noticed the outstanding visual design merit. Y'know? the statue of david=Renaissance? GET IT?

Like many other posters in this thread, I was wary of ACII after the disappointing first, and even more wary after seeng it get the SAME score (and we all know how much AC1 deserved that 9.0...).However, reading around...it seems that the biggest flaw, among others, has been rectified. I'll probably have to get this. EA sure as hell has been on a winning streak.

This game looks great and I want to play it but I couldn't get into the first one and haven't finished it; and the first one got a 9.0 too.

Yea tell me about it. I just got the PS3 version and believe me Lens of Truth overblows the techical issues way out of porportion. They basically made the game seem crappy.

It is another story when I am playing it on my own tv. So far the game runs much better than the orignal Creed with less framerate problems(yea they are there but you gotta look hard to catch them) and the screen tearing is not all over the place as well. Once again it is there but it is very unnoticable considering Ezio moves a heck of a lot faster than Altair.

Before buying this game I was a little wary but took the plunge anyways. From now on I am not trusting another of these multiplat comparsions on internet sites. I would rather see it with my own eyes.

The thing that is most indicative to me about the quality of this game is IGN's score jump from 7.5 to 9.2. I can't wait. It seems as though ACII is what AC should've been. Also, to those who think these scores are bought, Kotaku gave an incredibly positive review and they don't give out scores. Totilo even said that if Ubisoft keeps improving AC as they have, the next game could be as good as Rockstar North's open world efforts.
