The artstyle seems to have changed a bit with the map. Maybe they can surprise us by pulling off some jungle warfare

That would actually be something that would get me back into the game. If they manage to capture by adding some new things that would be something really refreshing.

Some parts looked saturated to me weird

I won't get excited for it until I know it runs well.

As far as sandbox environments go, it' is the most photorealistic game on the market. Console people are very jealous of this, they should be.

In terms of art style definitely. In terms of scale and technical performance? Not even close.

There is major difference though. Horizon was in engine, these shots are in game. In engine footage is akin to a Bullshot, in game is exactly what it can look like (I say can because it's obviously determined by an individuals hardware)

I'm guessing there is a fairly large audience for Arma considering how good it sells and the amount of support it gets from Bohemia .Plus is one of the few games that is doesnt get big discounts ( at most it gets about 30% discount ) since apparently even without discounts it sells

Being a real pc gamer who enjoyed tactical shooters, a genre currently on a ventilation machine, all but ready to enter the the light, Arma is privilege to play.

It's doubtful many modern gamers even know what a tactical shooter is, to them, it's gears of war.

Shame the game is so fucking boring.... unless you really dig Milsims.

DX12 is nice but won't help that much. It's more CPU bottlenecked by tracking large amounts of entities and calculating physics on them.
