Are we Hype for Cyberpunk 2077 now?

No matter how good it looks its just a boring arse first person shooter, yuck.

if it was third person. it would suffer from terrible controls and non immersive as first person means immersion.

I was hyped for Cyberpunk 2077 the very moment it was announced. It's CD Projekt Red, and that's already enough to go on. And my hype has only grown with everything seen since, which really spiked with the Keanu Reeves reveal.

It's in first person now and the controls still seem to be sub-par, but it's narrative sounds good this time around so I'll give it a chance.

With TW3 both the gameplay and the story were crap so there wasn't anything to salvage the game for me.

Let's be perfectly clear though, being in first person won't magically make CDPR good at producing realistic or impressive gameplay. it'll just make it easier for everyone to give them a pass on it because not many people expect impressive gameplay in first person, Fallout and skyrim are a prime example of this fact.

fallout and skyrim suffer because they have option to have first and third person view.

Deus Ex and System shock are perfect example how to make first person immersive games.
