I loved Dynasty Warriors when I played it on the original Xbox. Nice find.

I don't mind the fact that all of these games are very similar, but I'm just astounded by how little they change in each sequel. Are the developers bored of making the same music, combat, and level design for each of these games?

Got this for Vita, and its the full game...loving it! Wish I also had the ps4 version... the fact i can buy at anytime on PSN...is tempting me too much. uggh should i go for it and buy it there too? I love these games. (i don;t have dw7 anymore traded it in and feel bad about that).

Game is awesome by the way. To those who think nothing has changed think again. So much has changed. Each of the now 70 characters has their own unique move sets and each can swap two different weapons out. They have 1 weapon that can do ex moves (which now each character has 3 of) , and there is a crap ton of different weapons. Each weapon can be leveled up, with skills and new types, also each weapon has 1 of 3 affiniaties. Some enemeies are resistant or weak to a certain affinity. Also each character can level up to level 150!

The story mode has the main 3 stories plus the new Jin story from Dw7, and a whole new Lubu story arc where you control lubu and his army... If you are fan of DW you know the badass who is lubu. The guy who can one shot you to death in the beginning of the shu campaign (guy on cover of box).

BTW... Game Scored 8.7 at IGN , for the base DW8... an 8.7 for a dw game that is unheard of. The last one to do that was the vita's DW-next, and that was because of how fresh the new additions and such were.

Dynasty Warriors is extremely repetitive and hasn't really changed much from the PS2 ones... but people like that so why not. Then again the last one I played was like number 6 I can't remember the one that got ported to PC. Almost catching up with Final Fantasy with the numbering.

Vita tearing it up.....and causing copious amounts of jelly. SDC.

Scores aside, I miss every game being the "complete edition". The way DLC has been handled by the industry is the worst possible thing for gamers.

Few developers have done it right where they release a full game and then add content later.

More games than EVER. Gosh, how will I find time to play all these PS4 games.

Dynasty Warriors is the epitome of how shitty Japanese developers can be and have been. Not only is it a super shitty franchise, but its so laughably stupid and represents alot of what is wrong with Japanese formatted style games.

You know PS4 has no games when people in this thread are reduced to hyping Dynasty Warriors. lol. Platforms in their early no games phase really brings out the bad taste in people.

I'll have to get a PS4 just for this. Shame System Wars hates good games.
