wich of these 3 mario games do you like the most.

Would it be naughty of me to say I bought all three of those games and didn't like any of them very much?. Then I'm a naughty boy. I thought Super Mario3, Super Mario world and Yoshi Island were perfect games, then along came 3-D Mario and I just didn't get it I guess. And believe me I really wanted to like these games.
Horribly over rated imo
Galaxy > 64 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>sunshine.
now it's pretty much established that sunshine isn't even near the same league as galaxy and 64.
Between galaxy and 64...for it's time 64 had the greater impact on the industry...but when you take off the nostalgia glasses Galaxy comes off as the all around better game.
Super Mario 64 for sure. It definitely has the best memories, and the most gameplay... Super Mario 64 is one of those timeless games that feel you could never get bored with, being able to play it for years.
Galaxy was great, but honestly, I feel I had a funner time with Sunshine. Sunshine was homed inside my Gamecube for months, maybe the entire year, and it was all fun playing it while it lasted. Galaxy, I played it for a week, then stopped... Not bad or anything, I just have had the least amount of replay value over Super Mario Galaxy.
64. After 64, the Mario series has lost touch with me. I still prefer the 2D games over 64 though.foxhound_foxdid you ever play galaxy....because if not then your argument holds no weight
[QUOTE="Floppy_Jim"]The only one I've played is Mario 64 and it was the DS version. I'm gonna say 64=Galaxy > Sunshine, just a guess.Shafftehr
Why? Well, I hear Sunshine isn't all that great compared to the others. And I would like to play SMG very much, I'm sure it's equally as good as 64.

Sunshine is amazing. It's just gets a bum rap because it isn't quite as good as every other stellar Mario game.

Easily Super Mario 64. It was one of the greatest games of all time. If not, the best.
Super Mario 64 itself blows out the whole Wii Lineup.

I guess its the idea that galaxy may be the game to make you like 3D mario games again.
sm64 is one of the best games ever made and i keep going back to play it every once in a while.
smg was forgettable i have to admit. the gameplay was fun but the setting and atmosphere was forgettable. maybe its nostalgia that makes sm64 better but i felt almost nothing playing smg.
[QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"]SMG > SM64 > SMS
All fantastic games, though.

Agreed. Wouldn't really call Sunshine fantastic though.. :P
Having played all three (though not very far in sunshine) i would call all three fantastic. i agree with the order bioshockowns put the games in
64 > sunshine > galaxy
Why? linearity (more so applying to smg)

Galaxy's linearity actually brought the game closer to the 2D Mario formula more then any 3D Mario before it.
