What is your opinion of the 3d glasses you can use with PC games?
I honestly think it would be kind of cool if they made glasses you could use with consoles.

Sincerely, I find it uncomfortable. I remember several years ago, when I watched "Spy Kids 3-D" that the glasses were making my eyes sore. It would be cool and fun if it wouldn't bother me that way.
It depends on what technology does the image implement to make a 3D image. If it is the same that is used on movie theathers (with the image being projected with color separation of cyan and red), then the same 3D Cyan/Red glasses used for movies would be the same for PC games and console games.
If the technology is of another kind (which I doubt it to be usable on all currently available TV sets and PC monitors), the story would be quite different.
I don't think it will do well, remeaber the virtual boy?c1o2d3yWhat, technology hasn't progressed since then? It was a badly designed machine with primitive technology (only one color) and no good games that utilized the 3D well (no FPS).
You will most likely see 3D HD games on the PS3 within the year. Read my thread Another reason PS3 is superior if you want more info on it.What is your opinion of the 3d glasses you can use with PC games?

funnyyyyy
After watching Night of the Living Dead 3D and several other 3D movies, plus having the PC 3D glasses that aren't red and blue, I can safely say I'm not onboard with it cause it doesn't really add anything to the game. The images are confined to the screen for the most part, however what I do think is cool is this Head Tracking
there is already a few games which use 3d....Metal Gear Acid comes to mind but I know there is a few othersHarlockJCWow, I did not know that.

LOL......thats exactly what i was talking about: gimmicks. Remember the power glove? gimmick. The laser pistol? gimmick. The snes laser pistol/bazzoka spinoff? gimmick. The wii zapper? gimmick. The 3-d glasses? gimmick. They all had cool games, but their status is still GIMMICK.

Well the new technology is of high enough quality that it would be good if it gained support. Without support it's a bit of a gimmick. But it actually has potential to be good. I think it will be widely supported within... 6 years. But until that day comes, it's a waste of money.
