Is this the best gen yet? This video kind of makes me feel that way and it's on ps4. I'm mindblown by some of these games. They are pretty much everything imagined, but only so much time to play them all.

Watch Dogs, Destiny, The Division, MGSV and Thief are multiplatform games. Multiplatform games that are appearing (for the most part) on last gen consoles. The only one of which (Destiny) are all going to be available on PC.
Ironically, these are the only five games on that list I have any interest in playing.

Planetside 2 or Elder Scrolls online are multiplats as well.
What an underwhelming list.
you have no interest in The Order, Drive Club, Infamous, Final Fantasy plus MLB the Show and Uncharted as well as other games like the witness etc? Deep Down might be the only flop in that list but so many games. The ps4 is looking really strong out of the gate.
I want to play all these games plus the witcher and everything in between. Too many games.
As a PC gamer that will be getting all those multiplats on PC, that list was pretty crappy as a list of games I must play on the PS4. I am only interested in the PS4 exclusives. All else are PC games. And some like elder scrolls online don't interest me at all.
Who the hell besides children even has time to play 20 games in a year?
It's not the number of games that matter. It is how long it takes to finish those games that matter. If you have 20 games that take 4 hours or less to beat for each, it's not hard to play 20 games in a year.

What VIDEO!?!?!? LMAO!!

they basically just slapped in most games announced for the PS4
Who the hell buys games that take 4 hours or less to finish? :)
Someone who genuinely does not have a problem with replaying their video games and does not find it boring.
I have a gaming PC and a PS4. My original plan for this generation was to play all multiplatform games on PC and use my PS4 only for exclusives, but I've recently become addicted to earning Trophies, so my plans have changed. I need only two more Trophies to earn the Platinum Trophy for BF4, and can't wait until I do.
Sort of RPG. Much online. Racers. So open-world. Wow.
There's a lot to be excited about but there's also a lot that I'll be skipping. The games that interested me in the video were:

You need an intervention

What's wrong with wanting to earn Trophies? They're so gratifying to acquire. I've got only one Platinum Trophy - that of RE5 - and the countless hours I put toward earning it were so fun and filled with anticipation. In regard to BF4, I spent about eighteen hours this past weekend earning Trophies in the campaign as well as in multiplayer, and spent yesterday and today earning Trophies solely in the MP; I now have only two to earn - one that requires that I reach Rank 25 and another that requires that I make forty five kills with the M1911 handgun, which I have to unlock. In regard to the latter Trophy, I spent today upgrading and unlocking sidearms so that I can eventually unlock the required M1911; I'm now three upgrades away and can't wait.
Earning Trophies tests one's patience and determination as a gamer, adds replayability to games, and is a fun and rewarding experience.

I still have to get into the first inFAMOUS. I played about an hour and got bored and went back to whatever else I was playing at the time (I think it was Batman: Arkham City, a game I now own on three platforms and have played about 5 times).
I don't even know what The Order is. Drive Club seems like a Need For Speed competitor (i.e. something I have no interest in), Final Fantasy (last one I played was X). Baseball? Are you mentioning it because it's exclusive? And Uncharted... a vastly overrated and overused franchise that has already overstayed its welcome.
The PS4 is INCREDIBLY underwhelming, especially for 2014. The only interest I might have in it comes from Destiny, and that's only because I can't get it on PC and my real life friends will likely be playing it on console.

Well.
That's crazy.
Hmm solid list. They didn't list Rime tho. Or maybe I missed it.
No, they didn't list it. Not sure when it will be released. Rime & Helldivers are 2 Indies for PS4 that I want.

MSG Ground Zero (PC, PS4, XB1)
MSG: The Phantom Pain (PC, PS4, XB1)
These haven't been announced for PC. They are coming to the PS360 though.
My mistake. I fixed it.
Here is the PS2's first year:
- Twisted Metal: Black
- Grand Theft Auto III
- Final Fantasy X
- Metal Gear Solid 2
- Jak and Daxter
- Devil May Cry
- Gran Turismo 3
- Ico
- Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance
Now THAT'S a great line up. The PS4? Not so much.
Sony really needs to get some exclusives. It should have secured Metal Gear Solid V as exclusive and get Insomniac Games and Bungie to develop Sunset Overdrive and Destiny only on the PS4. Also should have put Gran Turismo 6 and Tales of Zestiria on the PS4. Then get Last Guardian finished.
Then in 2014 Sony's exclusive line up is: Infamous, The Order, Uncharted 4, Destiny, Metal Gear Solid 5, Tales of Zestiria, Gran Turismo 6, Sunset Overdrive, Deep Down, The Last Guardian and DriveClub. Now THAT is a great line up.
@AHUGECAT: So besides a couple games that basically is the ps4 lineup...what's the difference to me if a couple of them are multiplat or not?
