Will there be a Final Fantasy X-3

having just played x & x-2 again i was wondering, how about an x-3.

vii has done 2 prequels & 2 sequels which i think is too many.

x-3 should be the last in the x story.

large problem though- what story could they bring, they would have to think hard.

they should consider two sequels for each final fantasy so you know what happens next.

x has the most important part of the story with sin

x-2 has a what happened next then goes into vegnagun stuff.

should an x-3 be more serious than x & x-2- would it have a satisfying end.

no girl power hopefully.

Ever heard of that perverbial horse? I think we should just leave it alone. X-2 wasn't exactly the most impressive game in the series, and i bet they've pretty much dried up any plot twists they could have used.

All I want Square Enix to do is to do a good job on FFXII. The voice acting sounds great! My eyes won't be so tired from all the reading anymore.

i thought an ffx-3 would clear the mistakes from its previous game.

x-2 was good but had some flaws.

the hardest thing for x-3 would be story.

the closest i could think for story would be the fayth returning because tidus returned.

this would bring in summons of course.

that new yevon guy was immortal so they could use him.

for playable characters it would most likely be an older late 20,s yuna, a paine with longer hair-

i would like to have lucil as a playable & nooj

Nobody right in the friggin' mind liked FFX-2.  The story was bad and fighting was...  not that great.  They took the great sphrere grid from FFX,  what a shame.  Yuna was not herself anymore.  Hated it!!!

i didnt like the girl power stuff either- thats why x-3 should have zilch girl power & make a good ending.

girl power isnt my thing.

game would have been better with out it.

if it was just swords & guns, serious music & some bad girl stuff it would have been better i think.

I'll be honest with you. I actually liked X-2 just as much as I did X. I think it had a much better soundtrack. Sure. It was impossible for me to relate to the female characters, but at the same time, I found it very difficult to relate to Tidus as well. He whined more in his teen years than I did in my infancy. The game was pretty lighthearted and I occasionally enjoy that. I prefered the Tactics way of building up your characters over the FFX sphere grid. I liked the villain and the story more. Neither one let me actually fly my airship, which kinda ****** me off. All in all, I may have even liked it more than FFX. Do I think there should be an X-3? Nope. Do I think there will be? Nope.

There are too many other FFs to milk. I'm still trying to figure out whether I'd respond positively if they were to try and milk my three favorite FFs, VI, VIII, and IX. On one hand, it'd be great to see the characters again, but on the other, they've pretty much destroyed any credibility that FFVII once had with me.

I thought FFX-2 was a bad idea, so I think FFX-3 would be Overkill. :P

If they get rid of the cheesy girly stuff that made FFX-2 so bad, and put it back more like FFX, or even more like FFVII or FFVIII, then that would help it, but otherwise I don't want another girly FF game like that.

I have never really played X-2 all the way through.  I am just know getting close finishing FFX (I don't play that often and I get bored with a game if I play it over and over so I have to constantly switch.  It really sucks).  What I have played of FFX-2 was really good.  But a X-3 (excuse the French) **** no. Yeah, its not that I don't like it, as you can tell from my sig, but it just was a little bit too off the norm for most FF gamers to handle.

X-3 could have a great story.  It could show Yuna and Tidus as they search for each other and finally reunite and then have some spectacular ending with lots of fighting and sad moments and stuff.kingdom09

exactly it give you a choice at the begining if you want to play as Tidus or Yuna

Or even better have 2 seperate files where you play as her then as him or vice versa or you could do it a littleo n both as you go along, then after you get to a certain pont they neet up and go to theend of whatever.

Hmm, you might be going somewhere but I still like my prequel idea of doing the adventures of Laguna from FFVIII better than that.

OK...I am almost done with X.  I have to finish Gagazet and then the sidequests.  Speaking of sidequests does anyone know an easy way to get purifying salts?  I am trying to learn no encounter.
