Well, we all know EA failed to buy Rockstar, the company behind the famous Grand Theft Auto series. What about, SE? Should they try to acquire Rockstar?
While Square Enix never should and never will do this I think other possibilities are open for the company. FFXII showed possibility that a city could seem alive even if it was full of (mostly stationary) NPCs. Now if Square were to create (a mature) free roaming game based somewhat of the ideas in San Andreas (the whole stat thing) that that would be cool. Sure every company is try to make money off GTA (Saints Row being the far behind number two) why can't Square Enix? I mean they would actually bring something new to the table as it would be a fantasy or basically just a Japanese element. Doesn't even have to be a Final Fantasy spin off. But if it was... lol... But it was true i felt nauseous after playing GTA. :? I didn't know why, but that going-to-vomit feeling just came out of nowhere when i was playing GTA.
people only play it because they think it will make them gangster, other people who look at it as just a game and play it, seem to not like it and to notice its flaws

Talk about overgeneralizing. I played GTA and enjoyed it and I do not think it makes me gangster to play it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with GTA that makes it a 'bad' series. It's a game that you either like, or dont like-and opinions are what make the world go round. I do think SE and GTA is a bad mashup though.
Wow, just the thought of SE buying Rockstar and coming out with a turn-based role-playing GTA almost makes me wet myself and we all know what happens when FF, role-playing and shooter mix. "Cough" Dirge of Cerebus":roll:"runs of to change his pants"
