Ladies and Gentleman, The Miami Heat are currently the #1 seed in the ECF.

Bulls release Erik Murphy, sign Ronnie Brewer, and have Bobcats 2014 1st round draft picks.

I'm okay with Brewer coming back, he may not be a consistent offensive threat, but he's great defending the perimeter which we really need. Plus, its good to have an old bench mob player back to the team that knows Thibs system well.

I wanna point out the conspicuous absence of our former stack of Lakers fans, nowhere to be found anymore. I guess that if the Lakers suck the season doesn't count.

Just substitute the Blazers with the Pacers and the Bulls with the Heat.

Anyone else going to the playoffs for their respective teams? I grabbed some nosebleeds for tomorrows vs. those Dubs. I'm betting on a tight game down to the wire :) totally psyched right now.

As the playoffs start, lets pay tribute to the only thing (aside from having Jeff Van Gundy as their color commentator) ESPN/ABC has done right since acquiring the NBA rights from NBC (and of course they fucked it over by getting rid of it):

The current rights for NBA is coming up and a lot of Networks such as TNT, ABC/ESPN, CBS, Fox Sports, NBC are in the hunt. The current contract with TNT/ESPN is worth $930m annually and runs out after the 2015-2016 season. New deal could be worth over a billion

ESPN has said they will do anything to keep those rights, it is the only major sports for which they have the rights to televise the Championship.

As for this game, fucking refs sure have a quick whistle.

Sure the refs sucked and made the game suffer with no BG or Iggy but man I'm stoked the Dubs won. Two years in a row where they're underestimated. F*** you CP3, nice choke job.

It is obvious that Jones can't guard Aldridge, yet Houston keeps Howard out because of poor FT shooting. I would initiate every offensive possession on the post.

This game was pretty poorly officiated on both sides.
