Eh, being a Bears fan I knew it was coming and now that it's here it sucks.  Bears put a lot of money in Benson basically making him their only choice for next year.  He has shown flashes; I hope he shows me something next year.   I don't like questioning athletes threshold for pain because I am just a fan, but if your leg is still attached you need to make every effort to get back on the field in the Superbowl.

good trade for jets, and what the hey are the dolphins doing releasing mcmichael? funny too, didnt a team just WAY overpay an at best average TE recently? and now a good TE is available.

As a bears fan im more worried about the briggs situation. thomas jones at least has a backup who, from the last half of the season, can put some yards up. but with briggs unhappy, who will replace him?

im pissed that the bears traded there second round pick along with it. jones is worth atleast a second round pick by itself. the bears should have offered something like a 3rd or 4th or a future 2nd round pick
