Charles Barkley

If it wasn't for Kevin Johnson forgetting how to play basketball in Phoenix at the start of the series he would have one.

Paxson didn't help either

Here are some candidates: Karl Malone & John Stockton, Charles Barkley, Gary Peyton & Shawn Kemp, Reggie Miller, Penny Hardaway.

Probably the greatest player imo to not win a title... Grant Hill.

If Grant Hill had never been injured.... he would've dominated the league. The guy's hesitation move is still unmatched. His highlight reel is so diverse, that guy was unbelievable. It's shame he was injured, he hasn't been the same since (although Phoenix never gives him the damn ball.. )

Sir Charles was a beast for years, then I would say Nash and Malone. But they still have the Hall of Fame to look forward too.

Steve Nash doesn't belong anywhere near the hall of fame.

Stockton and Malone had each other and still didn't get it done so I can't say either of them. Barkley had nobody for most of his career and KJ and Majerle were too old by the time he got to Phoenix to help him for very long. So I'll go with Sir Charles. Grant Hill? Not even in the conversation. Reggie Miller and AI, maybe.

I cosign this statement. As far as modern era players go I would say Allen Iverson he put the Sixers on his back and took them to the Finals in 01 but the Lakers was just too dominant that year. Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing Malone + Stockton, Reggie Miller, Gary Payton were all great players and are/will be hall of famers but they have all been denied the ultimate victory due to the sheer greatness of the basketball god himself.

The guys that always come to mind is Barkley, Malone, Stockton, Miller, and Ewing. I'll throw in Chris Mullin as well.

I don't count Nash, Iverson, or Kidd yet because they're still playing.

And don't forget the Human Highlight Film, Dominique Wilkins.

If Nash (Two time MVP and almost won a 3rd, a NBA great in FT %, can out shoot most shooting guards) isn't worthy of Hall of Fame entrance then hardly anyone is.

Iverson will probably make it cause of all the scoring titles, steals, and he did win an MVP so he pretty much is in.

In no paticular order...

John Stockton

Karl Malone

Reggie Miller

Patrick Ewing

Charles Barkley

Chris Mullin

Tim Hardaway

I do not count CWebb 'cuz he wasted himself away.

If you want to go way back there's some HOF ballers that never got the jewels

Elgin Baylor (8 Finals appearances and no rings!)

Pistol Pete Maravich

Alex English

Bernard King

Bob Lanier

Lenny Wilkens

4 great years hardly make you qualified for the hall of fame.

If he played at the level he has since 2005 for his whole career then he would get consideration. Sadly he didn't turn into a great player untill 2005. He's not a hall of famer, not even close.

LEBRON JAMESweems13

lebrons only been here for 4, 5 years and hes had easy chances after showing they could beat the Wizards 3 years in a row, and making it past Detroit, give some props there. so he should have won a title by now. he hasnt, but he still has AT LEAST 10 years left, he will win one at some point.

Well, he had two significant plays in the series. The game-winning shot in Game 3 and in Game 5, the final FG for a one point victory. :?

I'm a Warriors fan, but I don't think I would even put BoomDizzle in there myself. Even if he was still a Warrior. I just don't think he's really going to be considered a top 50 or HOF player. Maybe if he worked on his game, physique, and trained a bit in the offseason he might be considered but I don't really think he's proven enough yet.
