Think the Special Stage will appear again? I highly doubt it but wouldn't that be such a bonus. It would probably be much better than the Heroes version of it since you'd actually by on the board and not running. I really hope they do but I'm not counting on it 'cause I'm pretty sure it's almost impossible.
I'm not sure the special stage would fit in this game, unless you're after something other than the emeralds. I think the emeralds are collected by winning the races, which invalidates the usual reason for special stages. On the other hand, maybe you can collect rings or something in a special stage, especially if we're really limited to 100 rings per race. (That just doesn't sound right, I'm hoping it's not true).
It is true about the 100rings. (Sigh) Too bad too. I guess this is kinda good cause it'll force you to play longer to unlock and buy everything from the shop rather than being able to buy so much in one sitting b/c of the infinite # of rings.
