Good move, Piglosi is trying to weigh it down with a lot of irrelevant pork. Best to wait till Republicans take the house back and then they can go with something a bit more reasonable. They have a habit of loading it with a bunch of crap knowing it'll get voted down and they'll try to blame the other side for not compromising. As far as i get out of it is that pelosi wants 2,2 trillion dollar bill and trump wants a 1.6 trillion dollar bill.

So both are stalling eachother it seems. She could sign on that 1,6 trillion dollar deal pretty much instantly but refuses to do so.

I remember him saying something about passing more middle class tax cuts after the mid term election a couple years ago and that never materialized. It shouldn't need to be said, but you cannot trust a word that comes out of his mouth.

Seems like pelosi wants money for there city's while trump doesn't want to give them the money because of their own failures.

Both sides also had deadlocked over the amount of aid to give to state and local governments as well. Republicans were wary of adding to the deficit and said the money would bail out mismanaged local governments.

Trump's tweet seemed to indicate the state and local funding provisions of a relief deal remained a major sticking point, writing that Democrats wanted money to "bailout poorly run, high crime, Democrat States, money that is in no way related to COVID-19."

So if its in no way related to covid19 then trump should straight up message this forwards in a list what he is against and push it to the public. Maybe he did it, maybe he didn't i wouldn't know. If he did and its really not related towards covid then its all on pelosi really.

If he just blocks it for no reason at all, then pelosi should make a list and do the same and hit trump with it.

Frankly pelosi has more to gain from a tanking market to make trump look bad then trump so i could see her using this bill to push her agenda forwards which trump doesn't wanna do which locks him into a negative view which favors her anyway.

Where did you get that quote? And I posted earlier what kind of garbage Pelosi put into the last bill. Amnesty, $25 million for pay raises for house representatives, $100M for NASA. So Pelosi is well known for making a lot of really stupid demands to intentionally get spending bills shot down so they can clutch their pearls and act innocent.

I don't indeed, i just try to find information about it and see why it gets blocked and what the opinions are about it from the people themselves that make those bills on the content in it. There must be a reason he pulls the plug on it and there must be a reason pelosi isn't going for that 1,6b bill at the same time.

All i find is left wing and right wing news sources that scream devil / evil / communits over eachother with huge opinion peaces on those 3 things rather than the actual information about it. I simple can't find it. And frankly my english isn't good enough to read the bills myself if they are even public available.

I explained to you prior that the House passed a stimulus bill but the GOP led by McConnell refuse to bring it to a vote. It's that simple.

So basically democrats want to help people beyond just their super rich donors and Republicans don't. Nothing has actually changed and it doesn't look like it's going to do so.

Uuh, the date and time is right in the Tweet. You can find news articles about Trump stopping negotiations dated to earlier in that day which means that tweet came after. This offer was obviously declined by Pelosi who would rather hold the checks hostage to get what she wants. No reason a clean relief bill such as that cannot be passed.
