I was wondering if there is any chance of sony bringing up a PS3 Final Fantasy edition just as microsoft is doing with Halo3, has Sony ever brought up a PS2 limited edition with a popular game amongst it? If so then i will probably wait for the special edition to come, and if the edition does not come out, then i will have wasted my precious time of gaming. Should i wait? Or purchase now?
^^^ i gotta admit Killzone PS3 would be too awesome... i'd definitely buy it.... i wonder if they'll make a special PS3 controller for KIllzone 2... maybe they will use the guncon 3!!! so many possibilities lol
Yer come to think of it I can't remember seeing a limited edition for a Playstation console. Though I never really took much notice anyway. I do know that Nintendo has had a DS Final Fantasy Limited Edition, so it could happen (the game doesnt have to be a 1st party title).

Well, they're coming out with a Star Wars PSP and (in Japan) a Final Fantasy VII PSP.
Over Ken Kutaragi's dead body would we see some turd colored "special edition" PS3.
The people at SONY know the PS3 is a high-end piece of A/V equipment. They wouldn't do something stupid like desecrate the image of their flagship console to promote ANY game. The PS3 isn't meant to look like some kids toy. It's a toy alright, but a very special, very powerful, very sexy one that even 40-50 year old men desire.
Yes and you can expect all the Halo masters(nerds, fanatics, and fanboys)to shell out for it. I mean wouldnt you want to milk the Halo series for all it's worth? I mean after that what else is there? A Gears of War 360 anyone?
if you have ever lived in japan you would know how many times sony has made a special editition console for FF.So all of you attacking microsoft for making a Halo 3 XBOX 360 yea Sony has MS beat on the whole milk a series for what its worth.
