Who here ISN"T going to get God of War 3?

Just curiousity. I for one aren't sold on it I could get it someday when it's a cheapy but I don't really want to spend much on it either, and it's not because I want another game instead it's just that the game doesn't do it for me. So is there anyone else out there on this forum that isn't getting it cause it seems everyone wants it here haha.

I won't be getting it for quite a while. I'm interested in it but have too many other games on my plate right now. Dragon Age, and Uncharted 2 taking up most of my time.

I have never played GOW 1 or 2 and I tried to demo for GOW 3 out last night. Needless to say it was just okay for me.... Sure the graphics and the animations are sick as hell but the gameplay just felt bleh to me. It's been done before, many many times before. It seems like it would get repetitive? Just guessing since I've only played the demo..

Too many other great games to get over this one..

Not sure if I'll get it on release day cuz I'm busy with the GoW Collection and FF XIII but I will definitely buy it as soon as I'm finish with GoW Collection.

Depends on if God of War 3 will get a BBFC or a PEGI age rating. Yes, I am OCD.

Unlike most people, I'm not a huge fan of GOW, though I do own the first two games and I enjoyed them enough to want to play the series to its conclusion. I won't be getting the third game right away, though. Resonance of Fate is releasing on the same day, and I know if I don't pick it up on day one, I'll have a harder time getting it later. I won't have that problem with GOW3; I can pick it up whenever, and if the price drops by the time I'm ready to get it, then that's great.

10 hours of gameplay and no replay value=rental

I won't be getting it for a while, I may pick it up in a couple of months..I just have so many games to finish first..LBP, Heavy Rain, Far Cry 2, Resistance 2..etc.

Demo was great, game looks awesome and the production values are most definitely through the roof, but the game doesn't interest me in the slightest.

i wouldnt get GOW3...might just rent it. I chose FF13 over it cuz FF13 = 60-80 hours, and GOW3 = 10-15 hours.

see the thing is about god of war, yes it is repetitive but its still amazing. I cant explain it to be honest but ive played some really repetitive games and god of war just doesnt get there that bad because 1 the story is pretty good and 2 you kill different enemies in different ways which makes it so bad ass PERIOD! But if you do not like hack and slash action games then you probably wont like this one but this is by far the best hack and slash out there

Never played a GOW game. They look repetitive. I may try the GOW3 demo one day to see how it is.

Eventually but right now I'm busy with Dragon Age, Final Fantasy XIII, Heavy Rain and Bad Company 2. It's a shame 'cause I've really been looking forward to this one! :cry:

Well, not "right away"...

I wanted to get it, but the game being too linear is turning me off, as I think it would be about time they changed that aspect.

I'm definitlely not getting it. EVER, never liked any of the GOW games...too much button mashing really.

Never cared for the first two, why buy the third?

I played the other ones and they were great and so this one looks like it... But for me at least JRPGs comes first. So i'm sure you can guess what i'm getting atm (games cost money you know XD).

I never played the first or second game so I really don't plan on getting this one.

I dont have a PS3 but I plan to get one soon and the game looks and seems really vicious but when I do get one, im not gonna get it. I heard its like 10 hours long and it just doesnt seem worth it at all, maybe when it comes down to $20 ill think about it.

Im not getting it straight the way. At the minute, Im satisfied with FFXIII. I'll probably get it in a month or so

I'm not a fan of hack 'n slash games....After I beat it, it just collects dust.
