Okay, I need some help deciding on which PS3 version to buy. I was originally going to buy the Gunmetal Grey MGS4 PS3, but when I found out it was $600 for a 40GB, it killed any thoughts i had of buying it. So, I decided that PS3 or no, I'm gonna buy the MGS4 collectors edition (I'm an artist, and MGS has always had some of my favorite art) and get the PS3 as soon as I can, which should be by the end of June or early July. Here are my options: 40GB PS3 - comes with Dualshock, no PS2, and smallest HDD that will probably get upgraded in a month ($400) 60GB PS3 - comes with Sixaxis, and Dualshock will be another $50 if I wanna get one. PS2 hardware ($350-$550 depending on where I get it) 80GB PS3 - Comes with Dualshock, PS2 emulation, biggest HDD of the bunch, won't need to upgrade it for a while ($500) Which do you guys think is the best value? Should I risk online auctions for the chance that maybe I could get a 60GB for cheaper, but no Dualshock? Or should I just spend the flat amount for the other 2?

if u find the 60gb go for it cuz it has full B.C and its better version IMO. but if u cant get it go for the 80GB which has about 80% i think B.C, and if u dont care about B.C then go for the 40GB lol but i honestly would probably choose between the 60 or 80GB unless like i said u dont care about B.C

Go for the 80 GB, with games forcing you to install 4&5 GB installation it is better to have a bigger HDD.

Go for the 60gb. You can always upgrade your hard drive. Mine went from 60gb to 160gb. Plus, I prefer 60gb.

Well I'm planning on upgrading the HDD eventually, regardless of which version I choose. The main things though is if the list BC titles is big enough on the 80, or how much it would cost to get a dualshock along with the 60.
