whats the biggest hard drive i can put on my ps3

1 terabite....but i think thats not out yet, but i know u can get atleast 500GBKrazyC18

read the booklet that came with ps3, it gives instructions on how to add it and evreything, should have all those answers, cuz i havent upgraded my HDD yet...

Nope...no limit you can put in any capcaity drive you want. 

ive seen people put 120gig sata notebook hdd, but can i go bigger?? like a 250gigtrey555555

It must be a 2.5'' (also known as Notebook) hdd. The example he posted is a 3.5'' (desktop) hdd. The largest 2.5'' hdds on the market at the moment are 250gb. You can find them at newegg.com

That wont work.  Its not a 2.5 inch drive.
