I remember it as it was yesterday. It was Resistance: Fall of Man. I must have put in over 50 hours online in that game. It was just way too much fun to stop playing. So what was your first multiplayer game for the PS3 and how many hours did you put into it?
Warhawk, I remember like it was yesterday ("ENTER GAME" WHOAAA THIS IS SWEET!!! OH MAN NICE NICE, "GETS RUN OVER BY A JEEP" , T_T **** THIS GAME) ahh good times, i clocked in 40+ hours at least
Probably Modern Warfare 2, but didn't play the online much, played the single player more. It was my brother's copy, my own first multiplayer game would probably be Marvel Vs Capcom 2
Resistance: Fall Of Man, I started the multiplayer without even trying the Singleplayer about an hour after I bought the console.

I was actually more interested in beating the game first then going online. I tend to do that with all my games. I usually do that too, not with Resistance for some reason. lol.
Resistance 1 too. I didn't play it much as I got Motorstorm soon after and played a load of that online.ryrulez
oh i forgot motorstorm. i had that before warhawk. the multi player was fun. untill the cheaters started cheating. i ran almost a perfect race and one guy would just lap me like nothing. i was in second by a good amount also. warhawk had cheaters too a few months after it release. becayuse they could take shots from a tank while on foot and still keep coming or kill you in 2 shots with any gun.

GrandJury's right, MotorStorm is a masochist's racing game.Yeah it was. I LOVED Burnout Revenge online, it was the perfect online arcade racer. Motorstorm was fun, but damn deadly.
Call of Duty 3 - broke two sixaxis' playing it because the L3 sprint wasn't click and go, it was click and hold down until you're done running.

Warhark was the first but didn't play it long. Didn't have the time to invest to be competitive. Uncharted 2 was the 2nd. Really like playing that on line with my son.

I LOVED that game on the 360. It to this day is one of my favorite online games. I was actually thinking about picking up the PS3 version just to see if there is still a community. There's only a few people who still play and when I mean few, its about 10 people or so. I actually checked about 2 weeks ago but probably was at a bad time.

lol There isn't. It's very small by now. When I was playing for the first time, about early 2008, it was around 30 - 40 people. I still remember the names of all the best players and the 4 rooms that were always open.

Its only hard because I haven't been dedicated enough to focusing on learning the angles need in order to do well on higher difficulty. Maybe I should play it about an hour each day til I get better at it. We should play it but I know that you would crush me easily.

Yea, I'll probably start playing it on a regular basis soon cuz I want the plat for the game though but its going to take forever though cuz last I remember, I was struggling with a certain map but I forget what its called. Its the one where you make a sharp turn to the left at beginning and then going over two small hills then going up the slope to the right.

Sebenco Climb. Good map.. once you get the hang of it, it's really fun taking the hairpin turns perfectly on phantom speeds and barrel rolling out of the last two jumps.
