What do you think of Beyond: Two Souls?

Considering the developers keep saying how they pride themselves in mature games that adults want to play because there isn't crazy action I can't help but laugh at how the second half of the trailer was nearly all fire and explosions. Ignoring that, the story looks like it can be interesting if done right. I'm hoping it touches on deeper topics (specifically religion) rather than just being a girl and her ghost. I'd also like it not to be all quicktime events, as they can start to drag. Still, without much info on it I won't make many assumptions/predicitons of the game's final outcome.

Looks nice, but not really my tpe of game. I paid full price for Heavy Rain and I sadly never played it after I beat it, think I'll wait for a price drop for this one.

Definitely interested....but I wont pay full price. I picked up Heavy Rain once it went greatest hits, and it was worth the story at that price. Will be keeping tabs on Beyond though.

I'm guessing that there will be multiple paths and such like heavy rain. At the end of the demo cage said "And if you make the right choices, you just might find out what lies beyond" or something like that. Snf those facial animations... :o

Beyond two souls looks awesome and think its going be scifi with a little bit of horror or Spensekyacat

It looks very unusual, but at the same time I'm interested. I'll keep my eye open for more on it in the future.

It's looking awesome to me so far. Probably pre-order it as soon as it shows up on Amazon.

I'll pass on this just like I passed on Heavy Rain. I might have been interested if it was just the girl and not with some weird supernatural thing.

Heavy Rain sucked big time since the game relied on story, but it has one of the very worst stories of all time, and wretched voice acting, and horrible gameplay, so this game will also suck horribly.

If it's anything like Heavy Rain I won't be interested. I want my games to be games, not slightly interactive movies.

LOL.... NO one... really no one even mentioned that its a SINGLE PLAYER GAME. Intresting as so many have been complaining about the death of single player. Well, at least no one has to worry about MP for this game. XD. Looks good, I got HR when it first came out I think I will do the same with this.

I think it's going to be a great game that will score over 9 easily.

I wasn't impressed, but I might rent it at some point. Since it's being by Quantic Dream I expect the same kind of unintentional comedy that 'Heavy Rain' offered up.

i just don't see it working to be honest, eyepets i found the camera didn't do to well with the room the pet was in (my living room) and the camera just isn't good enough, playstation move truly needs an up to date camera to really make it work and it hasn't, plus holding a book in ur hand just i don't know we'll see i have a little girl and she should be around the age by the time it comes out, so will see. but i'm not holding any hope for it.

I loved Heavy Rain for its story and drama, Beyond will be a Day 1 purchase for me

Didn't really care for Heavy Rain and this doesn't look that great either but I'll check reviews when it comes out.

I thought it was pretty funny how David Cage pumped up the actress and then choose to show a clip that was just several minutes of her sitting there saying nothing and looking vacant. I literally sprayed my drink from laughing at that.

I'll probably wait for a price drop, but it looks pretty interesting.

I loved Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls looks even better. HR was one of mine favorite games of 2010 and I can see Beyond be as well whenever its released.

We need more games like that..

I think it looks AMAZING and very interesting. So I'll be getting it. Looks like it's going to be more mature, with an emotional story and characters. And it's different!! Plus, I like Heavy Rain. I don't care if there's not huge amounts of freedom, not every game has to have that. It's not an "interactive movie" As some like to say :roll: Might not be your type of game, but how could anyone say it looks "crap". It's something different. Isn't that what everyone says they want?
