For the other, depends, if you like FPS, Resistance is awesome. If you like western RPGs, and haven't played it on PC or 360 yet, Oblivion is great, but if you wait a little bit, theres gonna be a GOTY edition with more content. Heavenly Sword looks fantastic, but some people are turned off by the length and will tell you just rent it. Before you buy, download a lot of the free demos and try some games out. It really depends on what kinda games you like. But you really can't go wrong with Warhawk.
Depends on what type of games you like. I recommend Fight Night, Oblivion, Resistance, Motorstorm, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, Rainbow Six Vegas, Dirt, and Skate. Stay away from anything with "Gundam" on it.
My 2 personal favourites at the moment are Minna No Golf 5 (Japanese import) and Warhawk _BUT_ that is just at the moment, there are plenty of great games on PS3. Oblivion, Ridge Racer, Resistance Fall of Man, NBA Street, Heavenly Sword, Virtua Fighter 5, for me the list goes on and on...
I Hope you got money saved because, ut3. haze, ratchet and clank, uncharted, and folk lore are coming out soon. Also you got cod 4, assasins creed, and other great games.
dude when it comes down 2 it..u cant go wrong with Resistance Fall of Man....and now the newly released warhawk..both r alot of fun..and for an rpg go with Oblivion if u have never played it b4, wait for the game of the year edition...as for titles like heavenly sword and lair and ninja gaiden sigma...they r all rentals...all awesome..well all except lair..that is a disaster..but besides that..u cant go wrong with those titles

I am getting a ps3 in a few days, but i am wondering whta games to get. Any suggestions?

Depends what you like? If you like shooters, then you cant go past Resistance FOM (a must have for PS3 owners). If you like racing, F1 CE is a great game (great fun online). They're my 2 favs atm.
But there's also Warhawk, Oblivion, Heavenly Sword etc etc
