was there a certain game that encouraged you to buy a ps3?

BP is better on the PS3, it feels a little jerky at times on the 360.

Sony has my favorite developers as well as SCEA developing games for the system. Naughty Dog, Insomniac, Incognito, Square Enix, and konami.

MGS4, FFXIII, FFXIII versus, and back when devil may cry was ganna be on ps3 only...

Agreed. (only, that we, the people from Denmark spent over $800 :P but still) i paid for a ton of good games and a kickass entertainment system wich is getting more and more features, and that has great connectivity with my PSP and my PC. so it's all great.

nothing when it was out. i got mine because there was a great del going and the 60GB model was being removed from europe. i basically payed 360 euro for a 60GB PS3 which is not a bad deal imho.

very quiet on the games front though for me. MGS4 doesent really interest me (went off MGS after MGS2.....didnt like that one bit and lost interest in the series) FF13 is a maybe...imho the series is a bit hit and miss for me (loved 7, hated 8, liked 9, not fond of 10, havent played 11, 12 was ok). im waiting for a PC version of GTA4.

i am looking foreward to GOW3, team icos next project (worth the enterance fee itself more than likely), home and little big planet. after that its wait and see. im hoping for a few surprises.

but the real reason i bought it, was a wanted a next gen system, and i wanted the best next gen system.

since the ps3 has completely wireless controllers and headsets, that was a big factor (the wii needs batteries which is lame) and also the free online service.

no specific game made me want it until after i had it though...

hey I'm glad to see this! I thought I'd be the only one when I saw the topic that was this much of a baseball junkie that I grabbed a PS3 in anticipation of 'o8 The Show! It was my main reason...since I bought though (in October) my CC has been taking a hit...already have like 20 games...lovin' PS3 though...NHL '08, Ratchet and Uncharted are my faves...can't wait for the amusement park in PAIN...anyways add me if you want...we'll play some baseball soon

I was soo close to buying a 360, I thought myself, "what amazing games are coming out for it that I'd like?" there simply wasn't a game. And it just so happened I was playing Socom 2 at the time. It was then that I relized what I had to do!
