Every time I get trophy(ies), I synch with the server before shutting the system off, once is synched, you're done. You can open your account on any PS3 that your trophies will be there. But you have to synch or you loose them if your PS3 break or something like that.
What if my system crashes and I have to buy a new system. Would PSN know that I have a new system and then sync the trophies?smtgfx
Trophies are tied to your PSN ID, as long as you sync you'll never lose them. When you log into the PSN on your new system just click on your profile and all your trophies will be re-synced to your new system.
