Thoughts on 4.0 firmware

Honestly I'm very disappointed with this firmware update. I thought that there were going to be great things taking into account that 4.0 is a kind of milestone, but all we got was vita support, privacy settings and two more languages support!! 360 got a new dashboard update and we have seen the same XMB for 5 years!! That's a shame. Let me hear your thoughts!!

For reals. Its dumb down so much that my mom (who has no idea how to operate a computer/360/ps3/etc) coudn't even figure it out. So MS idea of simplicity of the new dashboard=fail. Oh the irony. She barely learn the old dashboard then bam now its new with its advertisement look. "Video Apps" that one made me facepalm. Does everything have to be an "app" now?

I'm not expecting much if anything at all with any more firmware updates cept for trash reasons or security.

I never expect to get anything I'll notice from a firmware update, much less anything that will improve the experience. Gave up on that a long time ago. But this time we got that stupid "read the health warnings in your manuals" thing popping up every time I turn the thing on. Gee thanks, I'm a knuckle-dragging moron so every little reminder like that helps me to survive in this big scary world just a little longer :roll:
