Thoughts about : Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

i think itsan awesome game.. multiplayer is fun.. what i didnt like was the feeling of being stuck in a big stage killing each other... i think im moving on to shooters like socom and MAG

I hate that game with a deep passion but to each his own.

its a great game and I will be playing it for awhile. However,it's getting old fast.It needs new maps.

Amazing game, with rewarding and in-depth multiplayer and an epic single player campaign.

online is overworked noob friendly piece of crap, all we wanted was decnet maps and balanced weapons and the callsigns are nice, but KS rewards themal and HBS are all horrible and noob tube is way to easy to unlockmonkeyd_93

problems with this game are as follows;

noob tube

chopper gunner

snipers

campers

Everyone seems to hate the noob tubers, which I agree. Chopper gunner is just cheap imo. 80% of the maps are set up for snipers, makes it a little unbalanced imo (but it can be dealt with if you're decent). Again, the maps are famous (at least in my matches) to have people just camping. It seems even worse in this game.

Maybe it's just newer people that came into the game, but I for one... hate the noob toob. I don't care if I go 1 and 34, I still won't use it.

Other than that... I think it's a bad ass multiplayer experience. Sometimes I get smoked, and others I do pretty good.

the online is awesome but can be frustrating at times. especially with the respawn system on objective based games types.

Spawning is terrible - They spawn you like right next to enemies sometimes and on free for all I could understand but this is TDM I'm talking about

The people who run around with double shot guns or just run around and knife people are super annoying

Its enjoyable but the online is worse then COD4 Imo

Campaign is superior to COD4 and Spec Ops is alot of fun

OVerall I'd say its a great game just has some issue online

great single player champaign...

MP is very fun, however, it doesnt provide dedicated server...so internet connetion is sometimes slow.

this was a great game a damn good story. But the biggest thing is the very competitive fun and inevitably frustrating online play. Easy to lose hours in but can make you think "Is there anything better to do" don't get me wrong it is in my opinion one of the best games made. Overall a good game good play and mechanics absolutely amazing comp. a game very well worth playing. (but by now who hasn't played this game?) Thoughts?Krimson16

For me I like the storymode, even though I'm addicted to the multiplayer. Over-all it's a good shooter but far from the greatest

Veteran campaign was way too easy and it did feel short. Played COD4's multiplayer to death but prefer MW2's much more so. Like everyone else, I can't wait for some new maps!

Online is ridiculously fun, especially with friends, but the balance issues with shotguns and people's playstyles (akimbo and speed knifers) can totally kill it for me.Chaos_Bladez

I agree. Too many people rely on using akimbo shotguns which is highyly frustrating if you get a whole group of them together.
