some one has got to crack this thing... ive seen the zoomed in house and the two people walking, which i must say looks creepy, but what is it? im sure whatever it is it will be great! i hope its MGS5 but i also wouldnt mind some kinda survival horror from kojima or something like alan wake... the scan looks creepy tho, doenst really give me an MGS vibe

Yeah i really don't think it'll be a MGS5. You're right. It DOES seem too creepy for a MGS game. It's probably a new IP. Again, like i said in the other thread, perhaps it could be a Texas Chainsaw Massacre game or something of the like? I mean the setting looks JUST like the movie. i dont know what this is gonna be... i dont see at all how the scans we have been seeing indicate raiden DLC, or an MGS4 port... the only clues we have is the scan, and when you zoom in on the center we see the shadows of two people walking and a house towards the right... i think it screams Survival horror

My advice. Put it on the back burner, go on about your days. It saves your sanity and just turn it back on, on Monday. lol

A MGS4 DLC is a more likely to be announced taking out the port to the 360 rumor that has been stuck like crazy glue over the months. Though I still say this has nothing to do Metal Gear related only because I remember in an interview with I think Mr. Kojima or a Konami rep that said that MGS4 would have DLC/ Expansion like MGS2 and MGS3.

I love the Metal Gear Series, it right there on my top 3 of all time, but I believe the influence in Metal Gear is easily misleading everyone's imagination. I don't want to be dissapointed nor excited until I find out exactly what the news is, then react. Can't wait till Monday, bring on the new IP.

This is gonna bother me till I figure out what it is as well..

I would love some DLC for MGS4. Actually, I was hoping they would go that route if they ever wanted to "Substance" MGS4. It saves from buying a new game.

Didnt Kojima said he was interested on "western's" some time ago? it might be something like that, at least fot the setting on the web site, that came to my mind. I don't know, knowing (not personally of course) Kojima, I wouldn't be surprised if he just announced that he bought a new pair of velcro shoes. I don't think it will be MGS5 at all. I just have a feeling it won't, and everyone will be disappointed. I know Konami originally made the Silent Hills, but Kojima didn't have anything to do with that. And in the bottom right of the page, the Foxhound symbol for Kojima productions is there, however, that is just their new emblem I believe.

I say at most it will be a new IP, who knows? I wouldn't get all worked up over it though.
