Star Ocean First Departure - anyone still play the game?

Just wondering if anyone still plays the game and enjoys it.

I just got the game today in the mail. I even had to play a little bit of the beginning to make sure the game played right since most games and movies end up getting jostle around in packages during mail delivery etc.

I tried to get into it a month or so ago. Game was really good until I hit the random encounters. I had to suffer through enough of that crap in older JRPGs, and I can't go back to that now.

It's a terrible game.

As much as I loved this kind of JRPGs, it was a big disappointment to me... :(

I love jrpgs and ripped through this in a few days i loved the story and full voice acting.

I enjoyed it, it had a good story and a few decent boss fights

I played through it once. It was alrigth even if the last couple hours was wierd. Not a JRPG I would play again.

It's one of my psp favorites. Since it's a remake of an SNES game, I guessing some folks are putt off by its retro play style.

From what I've seen of the SNES version on youtube, the SNES version is actually better.

A definite disappointment.
