Ok let me first start out by saying the first Uncharted was amazing..... Untill Uncharted 2 came out then Uncharted 2 blew Uncharted 1 out of the water but all sequels do that right??? Honestly I played through both and I beat both, I got my PS right as Uncharted 2 came out so I first played and beat that one then went back to the first one and played and beat that one. The difference was noticed but still Uncharted one is a great game. If you know the story then it is your call, if you are bored then skipped to Uncharted 2

Um, why are you asking us? If you don't like it, move on! For the love of God man, don't waste your time with a game you don't enjoy. Life is short enough. :)

um i dont get why people do this its like watching a sequel to a movie without seeing the fist one, if you dont like the combat in the first one what makes you think youll like it in the second one.

haha I was thinking the same thing. The second one is a lot like the first, just with better graphics, tightened up gameplay, an amazing multiplayer, and more fine tuned epic feel.

first of all uncharted 2>uncharted. Both games are great but part 2 is just **** amazing. I think what makes it better is that its nearly nonstop action and the environments are more diverse. Part 1 spends most of its time in the jungle and starts out pretty slow. either way, this thread reminded me of a friend of mine who i let borrow the first one not long ago, he had the game for several weeks and was only on ch. 4 and said he couldn't get into it, i told him that he was still only about 30 minutes into the game and that the action picks up but i guess he has add and couldn't handle it. Same thing goes for gow2, i told another friend of mine that b4 i let him borrow gow3, to try out 2 which was still a really good game and this dude has had it for over a month and only halfway done. I guess if its not an fps, then their attention span just isn't there.....smh.

If you want to finish it then finish if it. If not, then don't. Obvious answer is obvious.

I personally liked the first one better than the second (both were great), but if you aren't into the first one then just move on and play the second one.

The first one's concept of discovering that island instead of running around the world in the sequel makes it more fun in that way. So yeah, the first is better, but barely.

If you think its pretty boring and you already know the story and all that just go straight to Uncharted 2. Uncharted 2 is probably one of the most improved sequels of all time

It is entierly up to you and Uncharted 2 is a much superior game to the first but both still are good.

I think the gameplay is far from lousy and why would you Youtube the ending of the game without finishing it. Watching the important events or cutscenes online and completing the game is two entirely different experiences believe it or not. I hope you don't do that for any of the story driven games like Half Life or MGS3.

Yeah I never got tired of it, so I just kept going. :P I have about the same in Uncharted 2, 8 or 9 times, but have put 200 games into multiplayer and a bunch more in co-op. :) I've played a lot of this series :P

I personally always start with the latest version with a game, because I'm usually backed up on time and like to play EVERYTHING. After I've played all latest sequels for games I like, I start to backtrack on my favorite ones (currently hasn't happened yet).

I loved both, BTW you don't need to play the game if you don't enjoy it, just skip it.
